Having done a simililair job on my own 914 the last 2 year and knowing how hard and frustrating it sometimes can get, I will certainly follow this project and try to learn some new tricks!. Good luck with the project, looking forward to the next episode(s)

Looking forward to following your 914 Bumble Bee progress. Just purchased a 75 914 and new to the community. Thanks for all your tips!
Happy to help fellow addicted teeners
Right on! Can’t wait to see the the entire series. Look like Honey to me!
Hope so!

yeah, I figured if I'm going to go this deep, it might as well be a bumblebee!
Love it. I have a bumblebee that I’m looking to restore, also, looking forward to following along. Thanks
Glad you're along for the journey!

Nope. My first one!
@@IanKarr love LE's....have a bumblebee too....car in great shape but owner repainted red ...(facepalm)
Parting out a black 1971 Black 914 let me know if you need anything
Thanks, Chris. I just may take you up on that.
@@IanKarr send me your email and I will send you pics and what not!
I’m sure it will be a Honey.
Hope you're right!
I hate to say this but VW bug was better engineered than the 914. just sayin. Real porsches were 911s.
I never saw it as a contest. I think the mid engine setup of the 914 handles better than the same era 911...but to each his own!
