I always had an issue with the peppermint taste of toothpaste myself until I found a different kind that doesn't use any flavouring like that. Maybe switching would help you as well! ☺️ That and maybe one of those electric/sonic toothbrushes. Different bristles, and some stop moving when you apply too much pressure. Could be worth a try too!
