Hey, kids!
Nutri grain bars is from Kellogg’s, which is a U.S. company. The ones we tried in the video are packaged to be sold in U.K. (Different packaging from the ones sold in U.S.) Please know we are aware of it! Hope there’s no confusion. Thank you💚
Good to see you both! Hope you have a great weekend!
Hi I love your videos ❤️
It’s made in Manchester I was raised near the factory and schools tend to go there on trips.
Hi Zoey!
Turkish Delight is made from rose hips
@@MrKaiserdust
Lol, I grew up in Michigan...we *also* took school trips to the Kelloggs factory, and came home with little boxes of cereal
Terrys isn't elegant when youre scoffing a box at midnight watching gogglebox 😂
Its not Terry’s its mine 😁
Those are some excellent British treats, Tunnocks are king. Terry's chocolate orange usually comes in a box and the chocolate segments are attachment to each other to form an 'orange' they're a big deal at Christmas, and After Eights ARE an after dinner mint, usually they come in a classy box in thin squares each in their own fancy black paper wrapper (also a big deal at Christmas). Thanks for another great video!
@Gi Gi explained in a previous reply as to why they didn't get the ball version. Its because its heavier and shipping costs are expensive so I opted for the lighter option so they could at least try the chocolate
Thank you Rhea. Glad you enjoyed the video for what it was
@Gi Gi its okay....no offence was taken :)
Gi Gi it doesn’t taste as good if you don’t have to work for it
An After Eights in wafer form was what caused Mr Creosote's demise in Monty Python's "The Meaning of Life".
As a Scot it fills me with great joy that the Tunnock's caramel wafer was their favourite! Tunnocks BANG hard
YAAAAAAAAS
As a fellow Scot, and also your sister I have to agree. Also, this is the second time I have found you in the comment section of random videos 😂
Where I live in Canada I can buy the 4 pack for $3 Cdn. They're my special treat 😁
Omg I was buzzing when they said it was their favourite. When my mum came came to Scotland she said she got over the constant rain when she had a tea cake and a bottle of ginger.
Someone get these girls some old recipe Irn bru!
@We Are Caramac are like a chocolate flavoured caramel, and they are awesome! They are a light brown colour, there is Nothing like them.
5:50 After Eight Mint Chocolate's are given as a palate cleanser in some restaurants in the UK.
Yumi and Zoey being precious snack queens for 8 minutes
After Eights are an after dinner mint, you are exactly right, it’s for after a main meal. However, I have to say the original thin mints are THE better version 👍🏻
Definitely
they resemble America's "Ande's Mints" , slightly bigger though.
oh they would have loved those way better, a thin slice of dark chocolate with the same mint filling, it breaks and melts in your mouth. so good!
I moved to the states and I had my mum send me a box of after eights for my birthday, they're divine~
I didn’t realise that you could get these munchie shaped after eights and there is little in the world of chocolate that I’ve not eaten. The normal after eight is perfection. I think the choc go mint goo would be skewed in the block shape.
"STOP BULLYING THE CHOCOLATE" ICONIC 😂😂😂
The Tunnock's products (the Tea Cake and Caramel Wafer) are technically Scottish. So I'm loving the representation here :)
I love tunnocks
Tunnocks are king, Scotland has truly blessed us all
I like the jam tea cakes the best though, they would have adored those!
Tunnocks are unbeatable. So many people in England love them too. A piece of Scottish greatness.
Tunnocks fly the flag for Scotland ❤❤
I love that in Canada we get UK and US treats. We have the chocolate orange, wagon wheels, after eights, mint aero, nutri grain, and Turkish delights as well.
Grew up with them all too!
Edit: though i love a Big Turk bar as opposed to a Turkish Delight
The only *real american made* treat in the UK you can get from any supermarket or station (that I can think of) is Reeces 🤤
Yeah same. And I ate a lot of caramels as a child in Newfoundland.
turkish delight is actually from turkey
These are classic treats that pretty much every household here in the UK should know, and if you don't then you clearly aren't British lol
nope I'm from the US 😄
but they do look fantastic!
Although I do know nutri grains,I love those 😄,and the randoms kinda remind me of a kind of fruit Gushers
@@GabrielleTollerson same tho I’m not American lol, those do look good
Never heard of randoms (the jellys)
I gotta say: Everyone loves Grandma OK with all their hearts! BUT Yumi is cute as hell and I love seeing her in videos as well.
I want to see all three in a video
hi from canada! that last caramel bar you both ate was made in Scotland and the city is very close to where my mom and dad came from! glad that you both liked it. cheers Zoey and Yumi!
Should've sent them a whole box of Tunnock's Tea Cakes. How cruel.
Lol. I would have done but sadly expensive shipping costs prevented me from doing so. I had to scale down all the products I sent so I could get in more items and to be able to afford shipping without having to sell my body on the street corner to do so 🤣
Also included in that one parcel were all the items in the previous Grandma OK British snacks video as well as all the things in this video so it was a big heavy box.
@@AmaanStorm Thank you for sending so we could all enjoy watching this ❤️
@@asseyez-vous6492 aww thank you. Its nice to read some kind uplifting comments. Some people in the comments are tearing down my efforts and it makes me sad that they're missing the whole point of the video....and thats to watch the reactions of two friends because let's face it, thats why we all follow them. We don't follow them because of the products!
@@AmaanStorm I totally understand! Haha. We appreciate you sending what you did so we could enjoy this video. Those tea cakes are just too good though. I have to go to an international market to (sometimes) find them.
@@AmaanStorm thank you for sending them so many things to try!!! You sent a really strong representation of UK's snack game!
omg thank you so much for posting this! i’m from the u.k and it’s my birthday today, i know it wasn’t intentional but it still has a warm place in me heart
HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🥳. Hope you have a great dayß
sarah glynn ahhh thank you so muchh, it means a lot!!
YES! THESE are a perfect range of British sweets. Omg I want to go out and buy some now haha. My mouth was watering just watching this. We don't mess around when it comes to sweets n choccies.
I’m American and discovered Tunnock’s Tea Cakes while on a layover in London. Now I buy them by the box (from the UK) to have with tea as an occasional afternoon snack. They are SO good.
i always enjoy seeing yall react to british food! i love recognizing the brands and seeing what u think!
Yall? You a cowboy mate?
terry’s chocolate orange usually comes in the shape of an orange with chocolate segments like an orange too. after eights are usually thin flat squares in a box for after a nice dinner but not really as dessert more just a sweet thing hence the name (dinner is usually around 8), there’s also a challenge to put one on your forehead and try and get it in your mouth without dropping it or using ur hands. both of these chocolates are really popular around christmas time
The animal sounds always get me lol such good comedic timing 😂😂😂
None of these other snacks could ever beat Caramel and that’s a fact!
I am still so disappointed at Turkish Delight. After reading "The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe" I thought damn Turkish Delight must be so delicious to sell out your siblings to a dictator. Then our teacher brought some to class and we were like "oh...you made a deal with the devil for this?!?!?"
I felt the same way when I 1st discovered what Turkish delight was. 😆
You should try Turkish delights that were actually made in Turkey. Idk where you’re from but the ones I had in the UK were nasty, I love proper Turkish ones tho 😊
Turkish delight, Lokum, can only be purchased in Turkey, and even then should only be purchased fresh. Anything in a package is likely to be pretty bad, even if it's in Turkey. Buy it fresh and it's f-ing amazing.
@@Jackalhit This may sound stupid...but I honestly didn’t know “Turkish delight” was actually from Turkey 😅. I just thought they called it that. Now I’m really curious how it tastes.
@@aambibambi983 I thought this all my life lol
It’s strange how proud I felt watching you eat our snacks lol
Loved your reactions :)
I wish I had the money for shipping cause I know of some snacks & candies that they have definitely never seen before.
Me too. Damn the shipping and import fees 🤬
Sweets
I love Turkish delight. I buy it every once in awhile.
"Gosh I'm hungry"
My everyday mood 😂
Yes girl, you nailed it! After Eights are for after dinner! They’re especially popular at Christmas time, so yummy 😍🎄
I clicked as fast as possible! I hope everybody’s having a good day.💜
I did tooooo!!!!!😂❣️but have a good rest of your night!
They're so excited over the sweets and then there's just me buying most of these almost everyday before school
There's various Aero's as well, like dark chocolate, chocolate truffle, white chocolate, and even orange!
THERE IS WHITE AND ORANGE CHOCOLATE AERO???
In my local shops all there is, is Milk Chocolate and Mint-
You're right about the after eight mints they're for after dinner with a coffee, Turkish delight is rose flavour, my favourite are the last two the tea cake and caramel waifer are from the same brand Tunnock in Scotland.💜
After Eight were originally advertised as for after dinner. I remember restaurants used to have them on the table, usually in stick form. You don't see it any more though. I miss that.
I miss Uk food being half half I’m stuck in Asia because of Coronavirus and this made me miss home so much but it was nice seeing your reactions💜
(Caramel and Wagon Wheels are my favourite)
I don't understand a word of Korean but i could listen to Yumi all day. she's so pretty.
@Ninjapoop31 Yumi is the beautiful girl on the left in black shirt. Zoey is the girl on right in the hat, it's her channel.
@Ninjapoop31 I wouldn't mind getting to know Yumi. Yumi is not always in the reaction videos. sometimes Zoey has her Grandmother on too. her name is Grandma OK, sweetest grandma you'll see. sometimes it's just Zoey.
I would love to see them go into an old british sweet shop
My U.K. folks where are we?? 🤟🤟🤟🤟♥️♥️♥️
Much love from England girls ♥️
Tunnocks caramel wafers and tea cakes are just great as is Fry's Turkish delight...I recently discovered Your videos and must say your granny is wonderful as is your friend...thanks for cheering me up!!
Hahahaha you girls are awesome. I am in love with you. Anyone wants a Viking! 🤣😂🤭🤭🤭
Another good selection of UK snacks. Before covid, the publishing company I work at would have a fully-stocked kitchen to feed us lunches and snacks for the week, and there would always be tunnocks wafers and teacakes. The food delivery was on a Monday, and we'd have to get in there really early on Monday morning to nab one because they'd all be gone by Monday afternoon.
Tunnocks is seriously the best, I had some teacakes just before watching this! Now I want more... and some caramel too...
this video warms my heart, you got a great selection of munchies from the Uk right there!
'YUM DO BE HUNGRY.'
Her name is Yum tho...
Tunnock's Caramel Wafer is also my favourite! My grandma always had some of these for when the children visited her house- very nostalgic flavour.
chocolate orange and tunnock’s tea cakes are two of my favourites 😍
I have had nearly all of those sweets in Australia! Wow, we must have borrowed a lot from the United Kingdom 🇬🇧
A lot of our food companies trade abroad, notably in countries like Australia. Still waiting for Tim Tams to be made available in the U.K. :(
That is very true. Oh you haven't gotten Tim Tams yet!? We got penguins in our supermarkets but I am yet to try them 😔
@@PB81648 no Tim Tams yet - my cousin in Australia always brings me them when she comes over. Penguins are delicious!!! Highly recommend.
@@jjs7721 Nice 👍 Yeah Tim Tams are really good especially the different flavours, I had a tim tam with strawberries and cream the other day and it was delicious! I definitely need to try penguins as soon as possible 🐧
@@jjs7721 I did see an purchase a pack of Tim Tams, sometime during 2003-2004 at a Tesco Extra. When I used to work on the outskirts of Liverpool, as a programmer. Never seen them since then,
my nan used to give me the caramel wafers every day after school when i was younger!! they’re so so good lol, with love from england🥳
Ok but seriously you need to try rolo if ykyk it’s actually the best
😋 Hard to find Rolo in my area anymore... we used to blend them with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce
@@stephaniecotton8640 I used to love banjos in the 70s (two finger chocolate wafer bar, YUM!)
you willing to give them your last rolo :D
@Cabbij very true, unfortunately I eat neither now cos, well... Nestlé 😫🥴
I made some pretty content British noises when I saw you chose the teacake and the good ol' caramel bar as your favourites because yeah, If my grandma had them in when she was throwing a family gathering, she'd have none by the end of it xD
Caramel wafers and tunnocks tea cakes are liiiife!!!
My grandpa used to work at the Kelogs factory in Manchester and whenever we went to his house, they would always give us those nutri grain bars.
I understand that love for caramel bars, every time I go buy food I always end up buying a whole pack of them 😭😭😭
Glad you enjoyed the sweets from the UK though! 🥺
Omg! I miss Aero soo much...I ran out of my supply in SK a year ago! The texture is very unique and mint chocolate chip lovers will definitely appreciate it. I do miss me some good British sweets love 💜
Whoever sent these snacks, thank you for actually sending the good sh*t. Almost every UK sweets/snacks taste test I've seen always try the uncommon/crap stuff 🙃.
Awww thank you!
I've had people slate me in the comments for sending the stuff I sent so its nice to read a lovely comment of appreciation for the products.
I sent them as part of a larger box of goodies. The other stuff was reviewed by the lovely Zoey and her Grandma in tbe previous 'British Snacks' video. Plus they also made a Beanboozled video which was part of my package.
Thank you again ❤
@@AmaanStorm We stan once again!!!!!
@@AmaanStorm Both videos were spot on for snacks and far more representative of top selling UK snacks than the one from 6 months ago (loved the mint chocolate inclusion and you event sent nik naks and Skips - yes!!!). To be honest, even with the first one from 6 months ago from another Brit (where I'd say a lot of the choices were pretty niche), it's just nice people are sharing what they enjoy.
@@personificafions aww thank you!!
@@areejl1417 I agree. There wasn't anything wrong with their selection....it wasn't what the majority of British people eat, but it was very 'British in terms of iconic snacks, and its what inspired me to send my stuff. I bet they meant something to the sender just like these did to me.
Thank you for the kind comment
Turkish delight was my granny's favourite sweet. Tunnocks caramel wafer is my favourite, so glad you enjoyed them! My cat also loves the wrappers scrunched up in a ball lol
Yes, they’re sturdy Scottish wrappers!
I was waiting for this!!😁
Tunnocks just win everything. I've always known the caramel wafer as "grandad biscuit" because, well, my grandad gave them to me every time I visted as a kid lol. Good news is Aldi sell ones that taste identical, they just have crappy plastic wrappers, 8 for 80p which as I'm writing now ₩1180 but on Monday it will probably be just ₩118
Oooohhh, thanks for that! I’ll def look out for those 👍🏻
Same with my grandmother!
My family have been eating them since the 1960s
YESS, more English snacks!!! :D Every time I see people trying English snacks, especially sweets, my little English heart swells with pride. lol Your videos are always a treat to watch!
Aaah I'm so hungry now! If I watched this like half an hour ago, I would of had time to go to the nearest Tesco before it closed D:
After Eights are offered at Indian restaurants in the UK after dinner and also at our grandparents' houses, also after dinner and Tea cakes are literally the only food that has kept me going during covid
Omg I read that as “f*cling a hungry bear” and the funniest part is that your editing is so strange (in a funny way) that I honestly would not be shocked. 😭😭😭
I missed u guys I started rewatching your food tasting videos 😭🥰
The animal noises always get me lol such good comedic timing 😂😂😂
Totally understand the Tunnock bars winning for you two, I love them they're so yummy but it's not something I often see recommended anywhere, nevermind actually being sent to people so it was a surprise seeing it on the vid x')
Yay 🤗
Some of these snacks are what I would expect to get them from older family members during the holidays 😁
Such a fun video as always, love from the UK 🇬🇧 ❤️
They are most definitely not old school also from England
@@minniebluebell6388 I personally wouldn’t find anyone in their 20’s or under buying these from Asda but I would find that parents etc. Would. Just my experience 😊 they’re all classics and the youngsters look forward to the classics!
I associate Turkish delight, wagon wheels and after eights with my childhood and I’m 60 next month.
Well done to whoever chose the snacks. Great selection for them to try!
Thank you! Glad you appreciate the products :)
MORE snack videos!!! Thank you zoe and Yum for another awesome video can’t wait to catch live stream!
ur so right about the randoms. the best flavour by far is the orange/lemon one with the juicy middle!
After 8s were my mum's favorite candy. When we were growing up, sometimes, on a special occasion, she'd let us have one of hers. Heaven!
I always brought back Tunnock’s Caramel to the US whenever I went to London for work, even when I went gluten and dairy free to pass out to family and friends. Definitely the best in terms of texture and taste. Yummy!
The tunnocks tea cake and the wagon wheel are my fave snacks of al time!
Caramel is superior, fight me.
i will not fight anyone on that! however i personally must add salted almonds to anything caramel for complete satisfaction :)
@@planesight1142 oh yummmmmm
Crunchie bar says hi.
No way, caramel is gorg!
@@hughw2377 You gotta point 👍🏻
i'm so happy to have woken up from my nap to a new video! i hope you guys are having a great day ♥ this vid was so cute, as always
The last two items you tried the Tunnocks tea cake and the Caramel biscuit are Scottish products which are obviously the best haha :P Speaking as a Scottish person. I'm so glad you liked the Scottish things the best!!
Someone send Turkish snacks to them immediately!!
1:36 way too cute sound edit XD
Oh, there's plenty of them!
yesss love these snacks🇬🇧🇬🇧 wish u could have tried a full chocolate orange and a crunchie bar!😋
There’s so much chocolate they would love you’re right - crunchie, the proper chocolate orange, proper after eights, lion bar, picnic, flake etc .
The queen once visited the Tunnock's factory about 60 years ago.She said her favourite was the teacake. They still make the same few products and they claim the recipes are still the same
So adorable, both of you. Your channel is my happy place.
I could watch you both eat and enjoy yourselves 24/7. Everything looked so good but I still have 0 idea what a Turkish delight is.
This is probably the best UK sweets/candy package I've seen on UA-cam. I eat all of those on a regular basis ;D Except Turkish Delight, because I'm not a psychopath.
🤣🤣
So happy you like Randoms, I don't really like chocolates (I know!) but I love sweets and Randoms are my favourites,
I am British but personally I prefer some of the foreign sweets more, bc they have different flavours and varieties
LOL I'm so happy with this comment I'm only 11
12 nowwwww :D
I love your reactions...you guys are such cool friends
The baaaaaaah sounds when yum was reaching for the cereal bar 😂😂😂
Thank you Zoey and Yumi. Another fun video, but now I am craving chocolate. 😃
Oh I love that you got to try the caramel wafer bar. I used to be obsessed with them as a kid... they were a staple in my school lunch box. Yum yum 😋
I used to eat those nutri grain chocolate bakes every day on the way to school... My mum didn't know tho 👀 😂
My dad loved the mint aero, he always had one in the fridge and we were never allowed to touch it.... Such torture lmao
I’m yum rushing Zoey 🤣🤣 “ sir yes sir” lol I love there videos.
Wagon wheels in Australia is, biscuit, marshmallow, jam & then dipped in chocolate.
try the tunnocks caramel log its just like the tunnocks caramel wafer but with toasted coconut omg its delicious!
Was excited to see a couple of Scottish sweets in there :D
The problem with tunnocks caramel wafers is they only come in packs of 8....to keep them in the fridge...the struggle is real. .
I love these videos 💕
This has just made me love you guys even more!
I love your videos along with yumi and grandma! my boyfriend and I always watch them as our special moment since we are long distant and can't visit because of corona, thank you for keeping us entertained, lots of love to you guys xx
My entire childhood was filled with Tunnocks bars 🥰 so glad it’s your favorite because it’s mine too!
The last two are from Scotland in the UK! If you're given those when you visit someone's house you know they like you - Tunnocks are the best :D
They are so cute!
I remember this UA-cam channel only had 23k and know look how many 😭I LOVE YOU GUYS
😍 2 beautiful friends eat sweets, much fun.
