FORD PUMA; Family Car; Big Interior; Comfortable: New FORD PUMA Review & Road Test

- If you are of a certain age, the FORD PUMA means a compact, front-wheel drive, very agile sports car. Well thats certainly not the case now with the all new FORD PUMA. The new FORD PUMA has been radically redesigned and entirely repurposed on behalf of the modern SUV fraternity.
The FORD PUMA is named after an impressive American pussycat, like its older brother the FORD KUGA and is based on a Ford Fiesta platform, but it’s wider, taller and definitely not a sports car!
Compact or small SUVs, seem to be the way of the world now - but the manufacturer says the FORD PUMA isn’t a couch kitten as it still shares strands of DNA with its ‘predecessor.’

We've been driving our Puma here in Holland for almost a year now. We bought the titanium x first edition. We really enjoy it. It's a nice smal family car. It's doesn't drive like our old fiesta or focus because of its hight but it's stil very direct and nimble so it's stil fun to drive. It doesn't have the digital screen like in the ST, only the mid part is digital but we really don't care about that. The infotainment screen works fine. It's not the best but it's not the worst either. It's works fine. It has wireless charging that works wel and it has two usb ports, one in the front and one under the arm rest space. Which is a stupid and diffecult place to reach if you're planning to recharge your phone in there. We do like the massage seats. They're actually pretty nice on longer journey's. And we love the mega box. Really nice when you buy tall things like plants and it's easy to clean. And the titanium come with unzippable seat covers. Very useful when your kids stain the seats and you wanna wash out the stains. We would advice the 125hp engine. We tried both the 125 and the ST155hp but the 155 can get a bit noisy plus the car can get a bit oncomfortable at higher speeds. Maybe it's a bit much trying to get that 155hp out of such a smal engine. The 125hp is powerful enough. It's more suitable for that car. And we do feel that 48 volt battery gives the car some extra boost. There are still a few little things that could be improved but we think it's a nice small family car 🙂
Thanks for the comment
‘Can’t beat a decent knob…’ That’s one of the best one-liners I’ve ever heard in a car review 😆
Gets better in the next video coming on the Kia Niro
AJ The Player 😊
Thank you for your review AJ.
Looked at one of these the other day. I've set out a bullet point plus and minus list (without the bullet points) below
PLUS POINTS
Certainly got all the right curves in all the right places
Drives great ( not talking from personal experience but taking the reviews to be correct )
Great value for money
MINUS POINTS
Cramped Fiesta interior
Seeing as it's a jacked up Fiesta - and from the point of view of a 6'2" male - ingress and egress not that great
So the boot can be turned into an ice bucket for your drinks - but it won't take a space saver and , I'm sorry if this offends, but who in their right mind would go out without a spare wheel
Great that you used a normal puma and not the St version. Thx
Without a wheel well, where are the car jack, wheel wrench & tyre inflator stored?
A good honest review from an honest bloke.
Thanks, appreciated
quality improving every vid 📈
Thanks for your comment
Re the lack of digital dials.
As long as it has a digital Speedo (which I guess it does as my 19 plate focus does) readout, that you can choose as you scroll through the small screen between the dials, anything else on a digital dash is just fluff
Large plants in the boot? I've got a spare wheel.
Review the St puma if you can get on e to use
I think i just felt in love
Haha the road cone 😂😂
wow the old puma was nice, this looks like its going against the juke
The old puma was ugly.
30cm! That's a foot higher than a fiesta! :) :):).... Great review! We know what you mean!
Thanks for the comment I don’t know why the centimetres slipped out as you are all aware it should be millimetres LOL
It’s not a usb c and it sits 30mm (not 30cm) higher then Fiesta 😉
Thanks for the update
It is a USB-C. They switched to USB-C in 2020.5 models I believe.
Great comment thanks
A manual handbrake na man electric with auto hold all day long.
Sure we may as well put manual windows in all so.
Proper cars that cannot be controlled by a computer
