Why the students will be arrested in USA? When there are protesters occupying universities in Hong Kong. The US government said arresting the protesters are unlawful and US Gov imposed sanction on Hong Kong Gov officer.

B- Despite the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza in 2005 it has not allowed the Palestinians to have their own airport or seaport in Gaza or indeed the West Bank.
C- Access to Water, Electricity, Telecommunications, Internet and the Borders of Gaza, West Bank and East Jerusalem have been controlled exclusively by Israel for the last 56 years.
Palestinians already were killed before 7th October but slowly. The armed settlers expelled many Palestinians from their houses in the west bank, killed thousand of them, and many are arrested just because they were trying to get their rights and the world was blind and silent. Gaza was besieged. The journalist Shereen Abu Aqla was killed by Israeli force year before October 7 while covering occupation atrocities in the west bank. Itamar Ben Gfir and his party let settlers carry weapons as they want and attack Palestinians in their houses. They also support building illegal settlements everywhere. No one in the world said they are terrorists. How can people live such a life in their homeland? How can they defend while they are under the control of a cruel occupation that forbids their defense

Students protesting on campus have hindered the school's teaching activities as well as the learning of other students who did not participate in the protests. So is it right or wrong for students to protest on campus?
That’s why they are protesting. The organizer said that they will be loud and disruptive until their demands are met. They said that there will be no grading, no teaching, and no learning until Palestine is free.

Whole point of protesting is so that you disrupt the comfort of society so your demands are heard. If you sit quietly and peacefully outside campus with signs and don’t make noise, no body will care. But if you disrupt the social order at school, make yourself loud and heard, be stern that you want change and will be this change, then your demands WILL be heard. Change requires uncomfortable, and that is what the students are bringing

Foreigners on a student visa do not have a right to camp on campuses, or cause disorder, or other crimes. They are privileged to be here and they're supposed to be STUDENTS. If they're participating in nationwide protests, they should be immediately thrown out of the country. That is the opinion of probably the majority of Americans. Can you imagine what would happen to these foreign students if they were protesting in Egypt or Jordan or Iran? lol. They wouldn't just be thrown out.

You can sense the craziness in these people. This war is between Israel and Palestine, and it will be ultimately between them that this war will be negotiated and settled. I highly doubt either of those countries care what "Columbia" or "Yale" students are doing on their campuses in a totally different country that really has nothing to do with them. I think these students are suffering from delusions of grandeur. I guess when you have parents who have told you, your whole life how wonderful you are and are paying your $80,000 a year tuition, I guess you would feel that you are the center of the universe and that your opinions matter in the negotiations of two foreign countries that have no connection to you whatsoever. As such, they should have a say in whether the school sends money to organizations that benefit from apartheid or cause genocide. You must be very young or have forgotten our past history. Were you alive during the Vietnamese war? Don’t you remember that our university and college students protested against the war and it helped bring about an end to it? Some students died when the national guard was called in and they opened fire on them. They were heroes, they were the ones who steered our country back into civility. They protested an unjust war. Our military men and women were coming home in body bags. Atrocities were being committed against the Vietnamese people. Whole villages were being slaughtered. This was our government at the time.

We live in a world where people are more upset about students protesting against genocide than about the 40,000 palestinians massacred by israel, more than 17,000 children murdered, 20,000 dead under the rubble, and missing, 2.2 million palestinians under siege, with humanitarian aid blocked and being slaughtered.

Making universities battle grounds for people who made bad choices is not right. Students should be proactive and reasonable and not controlled by outside elements, who have ulterior motives. The students who are so inflamed should take a bus to Washington and make tent cities.

You have the right to peacefully protest, but you do not have the right to prevent people from going to the classes they paid to attend. It's also important to understand the issue you're protesting. I bet less than 10% of these protesters can even point out Palestine on a map.
The US government needs to quickly and resolutely return international students to their home country if they protest do not comply with US law.
Why can’t people just see that protests push progress. We would still have segregated schools if people didn’t protest it. People from all perspectives need to have their voices heard so that we can move forward as a society. If we had banned black kids from protesting during the civil rights movement then we would still be where we were then.
