Traditionally in south India rice flour was used to make kolam/ rangoli...small bird, insect and ants wl come to eat it n its believed if birds r coming to ur house it brings positivity and that may result in prosperity..but adding acrylic colours is big no ..

1. Take Any powder add water and mix well
2. Then add poster colour and mix it again
3. Let it dry for 5 hours
4.mix it in a mixer grinder.
