Totally feel you on the communication shield when talking about the harder moments in corporate versus the luxury of being self employed saying anything my bc there’s no “boss” to worry about 💕 you share so much that reminds all of us it’s so normal to be overwhelmed or stressed but scary to admit with a boss lol

I started reading the 12 week year (the audiobook is also on YT- only about 5hrs long) and it seems like something you might be into 👍 if you decide to try it out, that would be a cool series

I know Uggs are expensive but to me they’re so worth it! The fur is very, very different compared to other brands (more dense, plushier, doesn’t get matted or smell) and really takes it to the next level when keeping my foot cozy and warm. I personally think investing in waterproof or leather Uggs are good because they won’t get the salt stains and they’re still cozy! I have Uggs from 2009 and they still feel super cozy!!! You can catch them on sale at the ends of seasons or during Black Friday!
I TOTALLY respect that!! I think we all just like to spend our money differently you know! Like I KNOW Uggs are great quality boots but myself personally I'd rather get a pair like 1/2 the price because I know I'd rather spend my money on books or christmas decor if that makes sense! I never want people to feel bad having Uggs its just not something I see myself spending $ on. Kinda like how some people buy Sephora makeup and some buy from the drugstore!! Just all comes down to what we value spending money on!!! ♥️

Thank you so much!! I had just purchased the Always pan yesterday at Chapters. It was sold out on Amazon. After watching your blog, I went to Superstore and bought it. I just made lunch, starting with steaming broccoli then cooked ground beef along with warmed up potatoes. It worked perfectly. I just have to remember to use medium heat. I can't thank you enough. I just hope Chapters will take it back. BTW I am in Fredericton, NB. I love your blogs. Just keep being you. Give my love to Stella

Hey Carter. Love following your work week. Somtimes at work if I miss a day I may come back to 40+ emails in my inbox. But what I do is start at the bottom and as I read an email I complete the task right then. It takes me a bit longer to get through my email but the little tasks get done sooner. And in don’t have to put the small tasks on a to-do list.
I'm excited to try out Starbucks holiday drinks
but I really enjoy chestnut praline and enjoy watching this

Hi Carter, love the video per usual!! Question: do you think Chefs plate/Hello Fresh type services are worth it? Thinking about trying them out and know you use them and was curious your opinion😄
As someone who hates to cook I think its worth it!! I also have been learning when and where to delegate to give back time to myself and dinner is one of them for me. We'd rather pay for meal delivery and take back the time to spend with each other in the evenings! AND its actually cheaper to do the meal delivery service for us than buy meat and stuff in stores with inflation!

Nice pan. I've noticing cooking in different pans the food taste different. I think cast iron is the best for steak.
Good to know! We don't really eat steak unless its a special occasion hence using a regular pan😂

😊I think you’re supposed to use oil for those types of pans instead of aerosol spray!
Ok YES that is true and we normally cook with olive oil BUT it's labelled as non stick so you shouldn't even need to put oil!!!!!
I tried that Almond Biscotti coffee! It's very heavy on the amaretto flavour - I would recommend if anyone's into that sort of thing ☕

Do you and Matt plan on getting married at all? Just wondering because at Disney you said eventually it will just be your guys’ married name but then in a recent vlog you kinda acted like you guys weren’t. Then today’s vlog you reference Matt’s family as your in-laws. Just wondering!! 😁 also, can’t wait for an office refresh! I’ve absolutely loved watching this house come together! 😍
Of course we plan on getting married! Honestly while we may not be yet we own a house together and have a dog and I'm in his insurance so in our eyes we basically are LOL. Not sure what you mean by "you kinda acted like you guys weren't" but we are happily in a committed relationship just aren't in a rush to have a wedding/be engaged. And yes haha I refer to Matt's family as my in-laws because in my eyes we're in a long term relationship and it's just what I call them!!
I had to go back and watch to make sure I wasn’t crazy girl! Haha you were talking about getting chicken or fillet at a wedding and said “I only say that because we are probably never having a wedding.” Obviously anyone can change their mind whenever they want so I was just curious! 😊
