so the thing with G.U.N at first Shadow wanted to know what happend in the city so he started to follow them BUT all that changed once they decided to attack shadow . Shadow is just following his words (( if The World Chooses To Become My Enemy, I Will Fight Like I Always Have.))
this is game shadow , clearly indicated by, " i've taken on another forrm, " and " it seems that i remain by basic form and abilities" with a dash of him looking at himself in confusion at the begining
Shadow was chasing after the helicopter because he saw the tanks and fires. He was trying to figure out what was going on and he was fighting them because they were firing missiles after him. This is the shadow from the game and he's just in the movie universe as a fun little non canon thing to promote the movie
3:47 Even in the prologue animation, Shadow is taking down a GUN mech in a similar manner where he also lets the pilot out, all because he got attacked for trespassing. But like the commander said, Shadow could've avoided that by just asking him a favor, which he obviously didn't. This is pretty much the same case except for the fact that GUN is actually after him.
The big thing I have with this DLC is that Keanu feels a bit phoned in with this game. Feels like the voice director told him to try and mimic Kirk while still sounding like the movie, and Keanu just did what he could with that confusing ass direction
I think what you're picking up is more so just the difference between a voice actor and a regular actor. Take any famous actor and place them in a cartoon and they'll sound like they're just talking normally most of the time. Keanu is also soft spoken, you're not likely to get a really aggressive take out of him.
Yeah the first thing I did when the DLC was released was looking for a model swap mod for this version of shadow. Then I learnt it's not a matter of simply change the models, unfortunately.
This dlc made me want to watch the movie, I didn’t expect this much from the dlc. I thought it was the level and the skin, and that was it. But no, there were challenges. I wish they let us use the movie skin in the main game, I mean, just make it so the voice lines in the stages don’t play or smth with that skin.
There is already a code that puts movie shadow in base game, but alot of animations are a little broken due to him being a unique character rather than a skin (internally speaking)
Ok i highly doubt that keanu isnt into the role hes probably just not used to the whole voice acting side. And its totaly s.x.s shadow because he literaly sais hes "taken on a new form" which to be fair is in character given hes been given the doom morph which is to shadow a new form you could also argue that (while his whole body isnt changing) the doom wing is a new form too something shadow isnt used to. And im sure theyre only giving you base chaos control because the level isnt as open as the usual ones its a small promo dlc it aint gonna be that deep.

I was a very dissapointed because the level isn't even that long and the level design is better than rail canyon, but not as good and engaging than chaos island. It's more of sunset heights quality
Keanu not sounding good in the dlc compared to the trailer and clip we got is literally because bro has been recording lines all year long re recording lines too. so he's definitely gonna be tired not to mention lines he says in the trailer that won't be in the movie just the trailer exclusive lines like how sonic did 2020_2
I wonder if he was working with the idea if you gained a new voice suddenly you wouldnt know how to use it too well and would sound bad but hes also a pretty bad va usually hes amazing at everything else except voice but he was amazing as johnny silverhand in cuberpunk so maybe hes like majorly improved due to that and hes gonna be great in the movie but idk
My complaint is where's prison island for another level or London but I'm just happy that movie Sonic's characters are being playable in a canon sonic game colors ultimate had the aura but you had to buy digital deluxe for it frontiers power boost was cyber energy with no movie sonic skin and we had to wait 2 years in order to play as movie sonic in the official Roblox game sonic speed simulator but at least shadow's here and movie sonic is in rumble 👍
I felt like it was extremely ok. Everything was worse than the main game. The model was a bit off. The voice acting was BAD. The stage was mid, again not as good as others. The animations were alright. Not the best we've ever seen in sonic when frontiers exists. Unfortunately they were also used to replace gameplay and a potential boss fight. Calling it peak is a bit much. It's barely passable and not worth the money imo.
When the most consistent complaint about the DLC is that “there isn’t enough of it” that’s a really good sign

Sonic games have weird voice direction, they probably didnt give keanu the right direction for his voice
also the reason you can't play as movie shadow in the stages is it breaks the cinematics and doom powers

I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed in this DLC. It's good, like, really good. I just was expecting more from it.

as you said,voice casting keanu for every cutscene is very expensive. Also , there are no red rings in Shadow gens , what drug are you on ?
The DLC is cheeks. Shadows model and voice acting was awful. The level was the worst in the game
I found the level and very underwhelming it was more cutscenes and automation than gameplay and I find the voice acting horrible
