Everyone I saw on tv and streaming said the same thing about this game. Either Indiana was going to finally play a good defense and get shut down or Indiana would win by 3-6 pts. Now all I hear is how bad Nebraska is and Indiana didn’t do anything special. Make up your mind.
It may be true that Indiana hasn’t played anybody but having the #1 scoring offense and a top 10 defense when you’re INDIANA is a major feat, no matter who you’ve played. 56-7 over Nebraska was a statement.
You can actually hear the goalpoasts moving. Nebraska was the test. Nebraska was the test. Nebraska was the test. Apparently you have to beat Ohio State and blow out everyone on your schedule to be a good team, just blowing everyone out isn't good enough.
It’s easy to be good when you play what might very well be the easiest schedule in all of college football. This year IU will only play one ranked team, Ohio State, and that isn’t fair to all of the other ranked teams.
We see your point, but Indiana lost to 6 unranked teams last year. You gotta tip your cap for going from that to beating all the unranked teams in a single offseason.
@@SpeakeasySportsShow of course that’s true, but that does NOT justify IU being ranked ahead of AL who has thus far played three ranked teams, with one of those being a win against GA. Granted, AL has two losses, but IU has not yet even played a team as good as those AL lost to. That’s not right!
@@The-Only-Glock IU hasn’t played any teams as good as the unranked team Bama lost to. Bama has played 3 ranked teams, with a win against GA, while IU has played ZERO (0) ranked teams. That isn’t right!
@@garycombs5721 Nebraska was ranked in the coaches poll going into the game. And also, Indiana has handed every team they’ve played their worst loss of the season. They haven’t trailed for a single second of football this. Not a single second, and they average 48.7 ppg which is currently #1. People were saying Nebraska was a huge test, but because they won so big now they just say Nebraska was bad, despite their only two losses being to ranked teams.
Is it Indianas fault Michigan, Nebraska, Michigan St aren't ranked. I'm sure if they beat them then, peoples tune would be different. To question them even after the Ohio game at 10-1 is Ludacris. That'd be the best record in school history looking at ending the season 11-1. Come on
Indiana will roll against Washington. MSU might be a tough task but they should be 10-0 when they face Ohio State plus a bye beforehand. Right now they could beat OSU.
Nebraska has been struggling all season. The last 3 games they could not even make an easy field goal. Is Indiana good yes, but how good? Is Nebraska good, no they only won five games last year and they will be lucky if they if they get one more this year. When Indiana plays Ohio State that will be a true gage how good they are.
It’s not just Nebraska. IU has given almost every team they’ve played this year their worst loss of the year. They are #1 graded team in the nation by PFF, #3 in the nation in Game Control (opponent adjusted). It’s not a fluke, as much as you want it to be.

People aren’t ready for Indiana to be elite!

Absolutely! Taking care of business like that is a statement!
I described the game as "Indiana won 56-7 and it was not as close as the score would indicate."
Well said
Nebraska is rebuilding with a freshman QB and a questionable coaching staff.
Indiana will surprise and in the 12 team playoffs.
Cignetti will probably be grabbed by one of the SEC schools next year.
He already said -- he's not going anywhere !!! 🤗

Dailey Joy heard the word Transition and thought they were going somewhere else with that lmao.

Indiana donors need to flood that school with money just to keep him as the coach. They can’t afford to let him go!
Aside for a team or two in the BIG whos anyone played? This isnt the SEC where every game is potentially ranked opponent.
How is iowa st and byu ahead of IU?
OSU is the only team worth a damn they play. Then we can determine if....
You’re not wrong. But does an 11-1 Indiana team still deserve to be in the playoff?

They put 56 on them! On a D1 school! And only gave up 7. Geesh!
