My instructions say to never heat a dry pan. You should always spray or put oil or butter. A very think coat only but not dry. It heats really fast & even. Medium heat is recommended instead of high & your food cooks just as fast with medium. High is only for short periods like searing.
I was sooooo close to ordering this beautiful set, especially with Amazon’s Prime sale price. Then I noticed they are not dishwasher safe (according to the Carote web site). With a large family, I sometimes use 5 pans per meal. Gotta be dishwasher safe. 😢
I'm looking at a different set on amazon right now from the same brand that is dishwasher safe. It's the 11 piece set with detachable handles. Just in case you want to take a look!
We're a family of 6 but they clean so easy (and our dishwasher is always so full of dishes and cups) Ive never had an issue giving them a quick wash... no soaking needed!! They still look great!
I like the video but why in the egg cooking demo would you not clean your stove top griddle and backsplash. That looks super nasty bro. Just a quick tip but other than that the video was good. I bought the 21 piece Carote set and your video did help in my purchase.
Please coud you help me with some infornation about the Set of Carote pans? I've just got as a Birthday's Gif (in advance)... (Had the "Amazon" at my doros steep fee minutes ago). I am really confused about using ...as I've been always using "Stainless Steel" pans. Instructions say I can only use Carote Pans on Low and Medium heat...and that I don't need to "season " the pans. Immediately I thought about "seasoning the food inside it" lol...just wondering if I can use my tradicional Herbs/Paprika/Turmeric/Garlic/Onions...all types of food seasoning.......I worrry about the pans getting damaged by stains from that. (mainly Paprika and Turmeric). I also wonder if I really should grease the pans the first time using them..or...always? I thank you so much for your help!
Yes you can season your food. The season the instructions are talking about is similar to how you season cast iron, using oils and fat to make a non stick barrier in the pan. You don't have to do that for these because they are already non-stick.
With some pans, like cast iron, you have to use oils to season and “bake in” flavor to use them. Not with these! Yes, feel free to use all your herbs and spices! It won’t hurt the pans. Just make sure you are cleaning them well after each use 👍🏻🥰
@@socialfamilyreviews Thank you so much for the help. Yes I am using now with more confidence, I can say now...I am very happy with my new pans. I wish you and your Family all the best! ♫•☆‿.•*☆•♫
@@moopoo18 Thank you for your help. I am now so happy with my new pans....which was a Birthday Gift from my Sister...but as I dind; know anything about the pans I was a bit confused. I wish you all the best! Thanks once again! ♫•♡•☆
What's really confusing about these pans is the instructions say two conflicting things about convection stove use. The front pages talk about using convection stove tops and the back pages say do not use the same type of cook tops....
@@socialfamilyreviews Question #1: *Do any of those lids fit on any of the skillets?* I need a lid for both skillets and I see that only the pots come with lids. Q #2: I have read many bad 1 star reviews that these pans scratch easily and the coating comes off? Is that true? Q #3: Isn't that Barkeepers too rough for those pans? Isn't that for stainless steel pans only? Thanks in advance for taking the time to read and answer my questions. 🙏🏽
I've never seen an actual good, solid, in depth use case review on this brand of pots and pans. I'm still looking.

Yes if you don’t season the pans, and use harsh sponges and cloths!
Si
@@AT-gu8by I always use paper towels and very little soap if any.
