I had seen you on television some years back, and when I did, I flipped out and pointed at the screen and shouted, "Chesca!?" 😂 In that moment, I thought to myself, "Oh, that's where she went." I've been subbed since I was 21-22??? Im turning 34 next week, and I still use your retwisting methods to this very day. Youve left a huge impact on me. I'm glad to see you and im sorry to hear that youve been through that.

Im so happy you are back!🎉 You are a fundamental part of my 15 year Loc journey. You taught me so much. When you left, I was sad. But I respected the necessary transition. I remember when I saw you cut your Locs, I said, gosh, she is so beautiful no matter how she wears her hair❤. I was so excited when I found you on tiktok. Over the years, I've seen your other content and contributions to this world and have always adored you and spoken so highly of you. As they say, "life be lifin", so I totally understand why a UA-cam break was necessary for personal peace, growth and development. I would just like to say, you have impacted me in a very positive way, and I will always appreciate and support you. ❤

Well, that was random. I actually first saw you when that "shit white women say" went viral. And then I randomly found this channel because was looking for a cleanse for my locs. And then I remember seeing you on MTV's channel. And then I recently saw you singing about racism. And now you're back here! Time really flies. So sorry you went through so much at once. But also, congratulations on all your success!

Oh my goodness so glad you’re back. You are one of the first dreadlocks person. I started following on UA-cam probably about 67 years ago, but everyone’s Gotta do what they Gotta do to see you again. I like the new look though thank you.
I had a beautiful 12 year loc journey because of you and your channel. I have enjoyed your career beyond that. It really sucks how there is not better policing of online bullying and harassment particularly towards female creators. So glad that you are back. Congrats on your feature! I would love life vlog-ish updates of whatever you are up to in your career - that you would like to share. But honestly whatever you do will be amazing and creative and I will totally watch.

It’s me 😅 I’m on here way more than any other social site so I had no idea you’ve still been visible.
It was closer to 2009 when I found the hair community here so I subscribed to you sometime after that which is WiLd. You have a sister or bestie that I remember you posting with often. I started my divorce process in 2020, which is also wild and I didn’t expect us to have that in common. The difference is my life has been in a blender since then and I wish that weren’t true bec the relationship was abusive. I for sure thought ending the marriage would bring some freedom and peace. No.

Thanks! I went to school for graphic design! I painted my designs by hand and then transferred them into photoshop and then illustrator. I’m almost done with my first drafts but I’ll def put together a video when the line is out in the fall

I’m not here to spread hate, but i looked at the reviews on your show, and I’m seeing a lot of comments saying you were the racist. Allegedly( I haven’t watched the show but people who did said you you said these things) saying things like All white people are racist and that minorities can’t be racist is pure ignorance. They said you did mental gymnastics with every issue blaming everything on another race but not acknowledging that we are the ones with the power to change what’s going on. If you wanted to talk about issues black people are going through, I think it would be best to come at it from a point of view that does blame everything on someone else, just like someone with no accountability does.
I don’t generally engage bad faith questions but I’ve never said “all white people are racist” racism is a social structure that requires power and privilege, it’s not just words. That said I’m not seeking advice on what I should talk about or how I should advocate for Black folks. I’m sorry if you’ve been given the impression I was requesting your advisement.

Obviously, what you said wasn’t resonating with anyone with a 2.1/10 rating. No racism is not a “social structure that requires power” it’s an expression for something awful people believe. What “power” do I need to be racist? A high title? White skin? Born in a two parent household? Maybe being lucky to have parents that stuck together and worked hard to raise me? Let me know, this is fun.
