Any one else have any extra room they might benefit from something like this? I tried it in a couple smaller locations and the bedroom was likely my best pick, I was using the TV speakers before and it actually really changed the experience in that space. Keep in mind the size of the system and maybe avoid things like auditoriums.
Thank you for being the only person to show the wall mounting capability. I was wondering if that screw hole can be used to put it on a generic vertical mount?
BTW.I love your review it's the first one that makes me actually decide on buying this system. Great review, excellent product description and explaining. Good video and audio quality. Great channel for good info on helping to decide for buying the product.Thank you very much! Glad to see you go,and keep it up! Good luck
This is great. Thanks man! Bedroom (maybe, usually for late night viewing in shhhh mode), office (hmmmm), or second guest bedroom/second office (now we're cooking). Useful as always, keep it coming! 🙃
Be aware that ULTIMEA has released several firmware upgrades for the D60 system. They are easy to install using a memory stick, but (seemingly) there's no option to return to the factory firmware. Also, ULTIMEA's technical support is poor. That said, I'm relatively impressed with this budget system compared with my much higher spec Sony 5.1 setups. It's ok for everyday use, although it'll never blow your socks off.
Its good for the price. Amazon ended up sending me an open box one instead of new like i ordered and Ultimea was great and gave me 50% off what i paid.
@@meghan6822 i didn’t end up getting it, but I’d recommend, after some research, the D60 because it seems like it is louder and it also has virtual Dolby Atmos, which the Vizio doesn’t. Just don’t be surprised if you have to exchange it since it’s kind of a no name third party company
What do you suggest, how would you set this soundbar with the projector except Bluetooth because I want to utilise its Dolby digital and dts surround.I have a projector in my bedroom above my head and the wall that it's projecting to is in front about 3m away. Thank you in advance
But what if a xiaomi tv stick or any smart tv box is connected to the projector? Than the hdmi is obviously occupied. Does a 2hdmi wireless adapter exist or do you have something else in mind? 😁
Does it up mix stereo to 5.1, for example prologic 2 or dobly surround? I read the D50 just mirror the front speakers so it's doesnt real up mix stereo to 5.1. I want to use it with my 13 inch crt and retro gaming. A lot of retro games have 5.1. surround
Bought mine recently, I’m finding that the front speaker gives off a squeaky/ vibrating sound at higher frequencies of dialogue. Did you find this happening for you or could it be mine is defective?
I did not have that issue, sounds almost as if a driver is loose or a cable is vibrating inside. I would contact their support and see what they come up with.
@@MattCoykendall1 I am in the middle of returning my Hisense ax5100g to Amazon, its an awful system. Sub is too bassy, even with the bass all the way down. The overall sound is extremely offensive.
Researching this because I saw the D50 is cheaper atm £120, vs D60 £160, someone said d50 isnt true surround sound, what's the main differences do you know? Thanks
I have a modest living room system with my TV going to a Schiit DAC and a Marantz 2220b receiver, a Yamaha sub and two NHT C1 speakers. I have a home theater system in the family room so I guess I'll never need a sound bar. I loved the review anyway!
It’s not under $200 dollars. I paid $340 on amazon. And I’m not impressed I didn’t hear the difference between my regular 5.1 surround. I’m still debating whether or not I’m going to return it to amazon.
I liked this video. I ordered one and it's going to be here tomorrow. I currently have an lg 2.1 bar and sub that I like the sound quality of a lot. I do have a bit of experience with high end audio equipment and also have studio monitors to do some home music messing around. Fingers crossed I'm not disappointed. You seem like you have high end stuff and don't have anything terrible to say about this so if my vibe check is correct I feel like it might be a decent choice for my small living room. love from canaada, thanks for the video.
@@Dabal_R no, they are more loud than the front speaker if you turn the rear speaker volume up. you can do this with the remote. i believe it's the surround button
@@Dabal_R ok turn up to 3 :) if you press the surround button on either side of it the volume will change, it will go from -3 to +3 and all in between :)
Try this sound bar OXS Sound Bars for TV, Home Theater Audio with Built-in Subwoofer, 3D Surround Sound System TV Sound Bar, TV Speakers, Bluetooth 5.0/Aux/Optical/Coaxial, 80-Watt, 3Eqs, Wall Mountable
You can! Just press the 'Surround' button on the remote. With the newer firmware there are +/- 3 steps..raising it or lowering their level. Press the 'Bass' button on remote and you can adjust the subwoofer to +/- 6 steps!
@@anayv11 I'm aware of that but I'm talking about controlling the volume on each individual speaker and making them as loud as possible for the best surround sound. Not a presetting. My other allows me to control all my speakers one by one. I like to make the front a little more quiet since it's loud by default and make the surrpund speakers really now so I feel immersed

Applications that come to mind Dorm room HT, computer system cinema, RV Glamping. Small, inexpensive with enough features while keeping it simple.
Agreed, budget friendly, offers enough and offers improvements in a lot of the simple or smaller spaces.

do you like it!
I think that as a gamers system with the soundbar under the monitor and the surrounds on the wall in a small room this could be a decent choice.
True and good point, this one will easily fit on your desk or mounted under the monitor.
That's what i did. Works brilliantly.

Right! Not every room needs to have an expensive high dollar setup when a simple budget setup like this can really improve it.

So do you get the mind blow effect from your Sonys? And which one do you have? I think about this últimas d60 or the sony ht s40r
When mine comes should I update it? Are there any updates that broke anything?
I just ordered for my Living Room to replace an old outdated system.
