Hi, i also record a lot of vehicles, and i was just wondering how much vibration the microphone picks up? Be it on a motorcycle or car, im worried that the vibrations will be picked up. Hope you can help.

what were your guys settings on the dji mic? i have mine at -12 gain 32 bit and low cut off i still feel like my exhaust is too loud for it still any tips?
Its all you can do. ALL of the mic is 120 which is not that big for extremely loud exhaust.
Looking to get info on this but gonna these settings on mine now.
Any new tips?

I think the placement off the mic is trial and error. I bought these 3 weeks ago and tested both mics in different places. Even with the gains set to -12 and both mics in the cabin, it still almost peaks. Which leads to audio clipping or muffled sounds. It’s a solid product but have to experiment yourself.

Hey man, I have a 04 wrx. Nothing crazy but to me it’s one of my dream cars. I’m not rich but I’m not poor. Any recommendations for mic’s to catch good audio? I have a Cobb exhaust and love the sound. I want to capture it now while everything is going smooth. I love my car, just can’t afford to buy a bunch of mics that won’t sounds good. ive used a wired lav mic and taped it to the car! even done regular apple headphones plugged to my phone. works good if you pad it and make sure the cable doesn't flap.
