I know they each did a “what’s inside my....” video, but now I want them all to do a childhood bedroom video!!!
I agree that would be cool but I'm betting the reason that they didn't do that is because most of them no longer have an intact childhood bedroom. It is a very rare breed of parent that allows the room to remain in tact for when their child visits. The usual process is that once the kid has moved out that room becomes 1. Storage 2. The guest room designed to mom's tastes 3. Work-out room or 4. Someone's home office Which makes perfect sense. I mean why shouldn't mom and dad get to use the normally unoccupied room in their house for what they desire? It is still sad though, in a way.

Chantel did so many activities as a child. Cheerleading, multi instruments, yearbook, boxing, rowing just to name a few like damn she was involved and getting it.
Tilda Right she is the opposite of me, I hate school activities.
I think she did them all at different times, she said she did cheerleading in middle school, rowing in college and year book in high school so they were all at different schools
Her childhood bedroom looks about two if not three times bigger than any bedroom I've ever had as either a child or an adult.

My parents moved during my first semester of college. Everything either came with me or went into storage. 'My' room at home is the guest bedroom

I don't get how people have childhood bedrooms. When my two older siblings left they had to take everything. Also, I got rid of most of my childhood stuff. As I grew older my taste has changed.
A lot of people don't take their childhood furniture etc. when they are moving out after college, especially since the furniture belongs to their parents. I think it's more common that their room still exists in some form of how it did when they lived there unless the parents move. My nieces still sleep in my sisters' and my childhood bedrooms at my parents when they visit their grandparents.

shel silverstein was one of my favorite childhood authors! i had the giving tree, where the sidewalk ends, a light in the attic, falling up, and runny babbit. it took me months to read runny babbit because of how distorted the words were
I totally understand the love of laminating things. My mom has been a middle school librarian for 20 some years and so I just hung out in her library all the time. I got to help her use this amazing industrial size laminator. SOOOO FUN. My sisters and I would always sneakily use it for fun as well, hehehe.

Me and a buncha my friends and others I've met didn't bring things with us? Like if my parents needed my room of course everything would be gone but we left everything mainly because we visit home quite a bit and if anything electronics and clothes we knew we wore came with us but bought everything else new! I say it does happen a lot more than you think but she's not that old so she has yet to have the need to take EVERYTHING with her. I think people who really end up owning their own place clean out their old room because then they arent constantly bringing everything around with them when they don't have a permanent place if that makes sense? Ppl do things differently but I know that usually the first few years of college a lot of rooms are still intact.
