- Hi there! Besides chatting while unboxing some small business goodies, this week's studio vlog is a bit of a quieter one as I focused on making and packing a bunch of orders. I start off the week by organizing and tidying up my workspace, then working on making my own kraft envelopes (since my ecoenclose shipping supplies order came late), making holiday ornaments, unboxing small business goodies, packing Potty Mouth "seconds" orders and new vinyl stickers (!!!!), and preparing orders for shipping! Hope you enjoy! I appreciate you watching!

I admire how organized you are, my room will never look that good! I love watching your videos every week and seeing how you run your shop, I look forward to each and every post! Your videos and the way you film/edit them is so aesthetically pleasing! 😃😃😃
Honestly the room is always chaos by the end of the day. I tidy up a lot for videos lol. I wish I was the kind of person that could put something away as soon as I'm done, but I'm usually working on many things simultaneously which causes all my surfaces to get cluttered very easily. Thank you so much for your love and support. I'm glad you enjoy my videos and the editing 😊💜
This video was so relaxing to watch, you made me miss all the nice fall colors.I love that you make your own envelopes, its such a great idea! Thank you for sharing my goodies on your channel, it means a lot to me.
Thank you so much for watching, Claudia! I'm glad you enjoyed! Always love sharing your beautiful work 🥰
Ha! Loved getting an onscreen sneak peek at my ornament. Can't wait to show it to the husband. WOOT!
Hope you both love it! 💜💜
My favorite part of Saturday! Great job❤️
Aw, thank you so much. I really appreciate your support 🥺💜
I really love how you make your own envelopes! I never thought about that and I just love the idea of it
Thank you! I never thought of it either until I ran out of envelopes due to shipping delays and needed to figure something out haha
You make me motivated 😇
I'm so glad 😊
Be like Tana makes and studio vlog
I cut down some shelf liner/easy liner is the brand name, in my Alex drawers so things wouldn’t slide around. I hate opening my drawers and everything is pushed to the back lol. Just a tip I heard about in another UA-cam video and thought I pass it on lol. If you don’t wanna go that route you can buy tacky putty, the stuff you use to put up posters on the wall, and tack some on the bottom of your boxes so they don’t shift. I found this way was a little more time consuming but worked just the same.
Oh, of course! Such an obvious fix that I never thought about 😅. Thank you so much for passing it on! 🥰
@@TanaMakes You’re welcome 😉
Soothing.
Love the studio Vlog!
Thank you so much! 🤗
I'm getting ready to launch an etsy store and watching you, well it's gonna be my reality lol. I'm preparing myself by watching and learning from you. Thank you for sharing Shalom
How exciting! Glad you're able to have some resources! It was hard to find makers and etsy sellers on youtube when I started my shops. Best wishes! 🥰
I hope your shop is successful 🌸
I love your videos! They are so relaxing and also inspiring, I can only hope to have this amount of orders!
Thank you! Keep at it - you will one day 💜😊
Same😊
sameeee
I’m new and just love your energy ......
You probably already know, but if your Cricut is cutting off it may need to be calibrated :) Loved seeing you packing all the orders and stocking your office!
Thank you! It's only the poop stickers that it's been struggling with since the outline is intricate, they're little, and I fit so many onto one sheet that the further down the page it cuts, the more off it gets. Everything else is cutting fine :(. I'll probably just make them a tad bigger and have them cut out on circles instead of the shape of the poop lol
hahaha so cute Nyla dabbing mwahaha
Right? 😂💜
@@TanaMakes lol lol!
I love watching these videos! Are you bringing the wood slice ornaments back to the PeasLoveVegan shop? They're sold out on Etsy right now and I'd love to get one for my tree this year.
Thank you! Yes, I am! Hopefully within the next week or so. I'm waiting on more wood from my wood cutters 😊
ur so close to 9k omg!!

I know 😱😱. Thank you so much for your support and always commenting 💜
Superb
Thanks 🤗
I love the look of the washi tape compared to the poop sticker!
Oh cool! Thanks! 😊
I really enjoy your vlogs and i admire that you share your knowledge. thanks so much! i wish you'd ship to Europe because i'd love to get some of the jewelry....:) greetings from Germany :)
Aw, thank you so much! Hopefully I can reopen international in the new year if things get better here in the US with our postal service. 💜💜
Yaa early!
💖💖💖
💜💜💜
How much do you make a month?
It varies every month. Kind of a really personal question though. Definitely nowhere near where I want to be yet.
🤗🙌🏻
💜
I see you use no issue stuff, are they any good? I’ve just had an ad pop up for the , great video
Thank you! I love the amount of detail they're able to get in their stamps and the tissue paper is very good quality and cool that you can order pretty low quantities. It's definitely pricier for both though and an investment. If you order a low quantity of tissue paper and use an entire sheet for one order, it's a definitely a cost you have to factor in when pricing your items as it's a lot more than usual plain tissue paper. I was gifted mine from them.
where did you get those small boxes for the ornaments?
A website called bags and bows online.
what machine was making words on the wood blocks
Glowforge Pro. I have it linked in the description 😊
@@TanaMakes ok im from australia
What cutting pattern did you use for the envelope
I just made it in illustrator by crossing two rounded rectangles and combining them to create one outline.
If I may ask, what type of paper are you using ?
65lb kraft paper.
@@TanaMakes thank you
I have a question. Your laser machine is really good? Or sometimes you have some issues with that machine.
I rarely ever have issues with it, and if I ever run into an issue, it's usually an easy fix like cleaning something, restarting, or changing the setting for engraving/cutting since wood/acrylic sheets can vary slightly in thickness.
Had you heard of noissue eco packaging company? Thoughts?
I have. I have a video unboxing stuff they sent me. I thought they were pretty nice at first but everything I got came straight from China and not in very eco-friendly packaging. They also do not use recycled materials. I'd rather purchase from ecoenclose who is more transparent, makes everything in the US, and uses a lot of recycled materials.
woah how do u get so many orders? i have a shop for quite a month and havent gotten a single customer yet 😔 is that normal?
I started Etsy 3 years ago. It took a lot of research, improving, and seeing what sold best. It took months before my first sale and even months where I only broke even because I used Etsy ads to help me gain exposure. You don't really start profiting and seeing more sales until you've got a good amount of sales, reviews, and start to build a good reputation 😊
@@TanaMakes i see. but i lowkey dont know if i should continue my business,, bc my mom is buying so many materials and stuff and i kinda feel bad for not selling anyth (yet) yk? and wdym by etsy ads? correct me if im wrong but u probably have to pay for an etsy ad right?
I hope you are making more sales now 🌸
Where u get ur wood circles???
Etsy
@@TanaMakes u buy ur bulk wood circles on etsy??
@@donnagarcia4403 yes, lots of wood cutters sell wood slices on etsy.
Hi Tana,
I hope that you and your family are well and in the so called Christmas Spirit I have just watched your studio vlog entitled - studio vlog 28 - a week of running two Esty shops, organizing, DIY envelopes, packing orders, and I was Truly Inspired by you actually making your very own envelopes.
I am in the process of buying a - Cricut Machine - myself and I have always wanted to learn How to Make my own Envelopes of various sizes and You made it look so Incredibly Easy, but I'm sure there's more to know than what's on screen.
So I was wondering if you would be willing to help me teach / show me how to make envelopes using a - Cricut Machine - Please Your Help and Advice would Truly be Very much Appreciated.
I truly look forward to receiving your reply
Hello! Thank you so much. Hope you and your family are doing well too. If you go to etsy.com and look up something along the lines of "envelope template svg," you'll be able to find different cut file offerings from lots of shops and you can see what envelope style you think would be best for you. Usually these only cost a couple dollars each, so I'd even buy several and see what my favorite it. Then you can just upload that file into cricut design space, cut it put on a paper of your choice or cardstock like I used, and fold where needed to make the envelope 😊
