Thank you so much for being here, watching and supporting my channel!
So happy to see you moving forward and finding solutions that work for you- and that you’re sharing them, in hopes they help others. What a great and caring heart you have! Wishing you all the best, Tana. ❤️
Thanks Tana, this was so helpful. I had a small business but because of an anxiety diagnosis I shut it down and disappeared into a hole. I am now building myself back up mentally and I will be starting experimenting with the jewellery I want to create in the new year. I have found a planner so useful (my is dateless too for the same reasons lol). The information your are giving is not only helpful for small business owners but also people like me that would like to have a small business and also those who are just trying to deal with a mental illness. So thank you so much xxx
Thank you for all the tips! I love listening to audiobooks or podcasts while I work. Instrumental music or the mellow playlists on Spotify are my favorites. The new studio looks great.
I love the How to ADHD channel! So glad you found it! She explains things so well!
Those tips were very useful Tana, thank you for sharing! I will definitely implement the ones about "mental resistance" and the "distracting music" as I also sometimes struggle with them!
And thank you so much for mentioning my Etsy shop and for saying such lovely things about my planners! I am so grateful for your support and very thankful that you talk so openly about mental health, as it is such an important topic! 💕 Thank you Tana! 😊
Congratulations on the new house! I'm so glad you have a more spacious work space so you can keep creating your awesome products & content. I love how you're being so pro-active with finding tips, tricks, & tools to help yourself function with your ADHD diagnosis. Very inspiring. Also THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing one of those tips... Inventora!!! I desperately need something like this. Looking forward to more content from you! Happy Holidays to you, Nick & the fur babies! Much love your way!
I love these tips! I’ve recently had an adhd diagnosis and it’s really made me understand behaviours I’ve always had. It’s interesting to me that you find certain music distracting. I find music helps my mind focus better by giving it a secondary thing to focus on instead of jumping on my phone or Facebook. But I love heavy loud pumping songs that I can dance to. Lol
Thank you, Tana, for sharing all this information and your thought process while setting up your new studio. It helps out those who want to manage their own small business, but also helps customers to understand better what goes into creating hand made products. And I personally just love studio vlogs:))
Thank you, Tana! This video was great and very helpful as an Etsy shop owner! Thank you so much!!
Thank you SO MUCH for putting out this video. I am loving the different videos lately. I personally appreciate when creators do something different, instead of just variations of the same type of videos over and over. I believe that's what will keep people coming back for more as well as attract new viewers. It's a win-win because you help a lot of people, while at the same time growing your channel (and hopefully making more money from it)...so that eventually, you may be able to lighten your hand made business load...or at least not worry about slow times affecting your income level so much. I would love to become a content creator one day...but tbh, I don't have anything worth while to put out there at the moment and I'm also scared to be on camera...put myself out there. Maybe one day. Watching your videos does inspire and encourage me to try to go that direction at some point. I hope things start to look up for you and other small business owners, very soon. Well wishes! I'll be on the lookout for your next video! ❤️
Thank you so so much for making this video, Tana! 💕 I've been finding it really difficult to work in my studio recently.. tbh I've basically been using it as a dumping ground and working in my living room instead 🙈 I'm going to rewatch your video and give some of your tips a try 💕 that's my only goal for today - finally clean up my friggin studio 💪🏼
I loved hearing your tips! I definitely want to organize my inventory better! I do enjoy your normal videos as well, I search all the time for work with me vlogs because I watch them while I work. :)
Thank you so much for this!! I believe I have undiagnosed ADHD. Your videos are helping so much!
Thank you so much Tana, this is super helpful on so many levels - we're so grateful you have shared so many tips and aspects of your life that would help others.
I bought an Origami steel rack for all my crafts on amazon getting ready to organize by type of craft, from metal stamping to resin art! may get the new Cricut next year nice video
I loved this video. I love the tips you gave. I don't have adhd, but I have had high anxiety for years. I get pretty disorganized with my etsy space as well and these tips are really good. I was looking at those compostable paper towels as well and your recommendation has made me decide to try them out. I also hate the feeling of microfiber on my hands.
Thank you so much!!! Great information.
Hi from Sydney, I just subscribed. And you are awesome!!! Muchas bendiciones Tana!!!
Thanks for the tips , I always get Side tracked
There are cloths at DollarTree (Canada but US tends to have more stuff) and the texture is like Paper towel but reusable. I haven’t tried them yet but I do need to grab them, just keep forgetting.
Lots of good tips! I can’t really implement all yet but I can work towards them :)
Inventora sounds awesome!!
Thanks so much for this video! We are moving this spring and I will definitely be implementing some of these things to help my productivity! Going to check out inventora too. We are definitely similar in the hobby hopping and “oh let me try this out, maybe I could make some money with it”. I hate excel and not a quickbooks fan because I just felt like it took too long to learn it properly.
The new space is looking so goooood! I'll be setting up my new office space soon and your studio tours have given me so much inspiration! If you're looking for curtain suggestions I love the Hilja curtains from Ikea. They're not the sheerest and enough to filter light. They should be easy to cut and I hemmed them using Heat n Bond iron-on hem adhesive since I can't sew 🤭
Great tips Tana! Loving the new space for the studio. I definitely want to try Inventora also. Gracias for the great content. ❤️
Omg, Tana! I love you for sharing all of these helpful tips!!! These are all so helpful and useful to know 🙏. Thank you, thank you!!
I'm so happy you found them helpful, Lisa! Hope you and your family are doing well 🥰💜💜
Love this video
Oh, Tana. I wish I had HALF of the courage you do to have a business. I think I have a cute idea for a business (involving the Glowforge and some other items) but the idea of actually DOING IT is daunting. I have the opportunity to do nearly whatever I want right now (ie: starting a business) but I'm worried about stability and health insurance and future planning (retirement). HOW do you cope with that? I'm single so I don't have that other person to rely on if things don't work out...and I think that's part of the hesitation. I need to make a decision *really soon* on if I'm going to take the chance or not and I'm not sure where to start.
I'm so glad youare setting up your happy place! That makes me happy and motivating! Thanks for all the great tips! It really does a difference! Blessings to you!
Thank you, Brenda! Slowly but surely ☺. You're welcome! Hope you find them helpful 💕
Excellent!!
You made this video for ME!! omg Thank you!! I wish I could hug you right now! Expect a very long DM soon LOL
Thank you for doing this. I have ADD and it’s definitely a challenge staying on task. Can you tell me where you purchased the tall square lamp with the shelves?
My space really needs more light and the regular lamps aren’t giving off enough light at night.
You're welcome! Hope you find it helpful 💕. It's from Target. I got it a while ago but I'm pretty sure they still carry it 😊. I did put a really bright bulb in it because of the lamp shade it has.
@@TanaMakes thank you!
Thank you for this information. As someone struggling with ADHD it’s definitely hard finding help. I have called numerous numbers provided by my insurance with no call backs, which leads to me giving up and won’t seek care for months until a situation comes up. How did you find your doctor?
You're welcome! Oh no! I'm sorry that's happening 😔. I first researched specialists in my city to find the highest rated ones, and then I checked my insurance provider's list to see if any of them happened to be on the list. Maybe the higher rated ones also happen to be the ones that have a better response rate. See if you can find an email to reach out by in addition to leaving voice-mail messages.
What’s your metal stamping press called ? Where did you buy it ?
Awesome tips thanks! What's the name of the time tracking app you mentioned?
You're welcome! It's called Sunsama :)
@@TanaMakes thank you! I've been looking for something like this. You're the best! 😊
What is the planner name or link? I think we are VERY similar when it comes to our businesses and being visual and just about everything you said in here haha! I need that planner though, I've been looking for a good one FOREVER!
The psychical planner? It's from Lavendaire! shop.lavendaire.com and I believe it's called the Create Today planner 😊. The quality of it is so nice too. So soft to the touch 😍
I just double checked and although it says "Create Today" on it, it's called the Daily Planner, but it says it won't be in stock until Feb 2022 🥺. Definitely browse through the website though! This one is undated and looks great too: shop.lavendaire.com/collections/all/products/weekly-reset-planner
@@TanaMakes thank you thank you thank you! 💜
@@TanaMakes I just ordered the one you recommended. I'm so excited and I hope this planner actually gets some use. I ALWAYS buy them but never use them!
I'm first..
Good morning dear friend..
Have a nice day.. ♡♡♡♡♡
You too! 💜 Thank you for being here 🥰
Try listening to music in a language u don't speak. I listen to Japanese music. A lot of variaty, but try not to do music videos.
I used to run my e-commerce via integrated Magento Software to run front and back end - it was super easy to keep up to date with stock. Do you run your own website? Or did you purchase a preset one?
Inventora looks like such a great program! I wish it were around years ago. Tracking your expenses and things like packaging can often become an unknown quantity depending on padding required etc.
Thanks for sharing!
