What kind of teeth did we find digging arrowheads?!

  • I took the kids out exploring a Native American Indian site and while we were digging artifacts, we came across some teeth that I’m not familiar with. Please leave me a comment as to what you think/know they might be from.

    Man , another great day with some killer saves ! Congratulations. Not sure about the tooth , looks like a wolf / dog tooth , could be anything though , my imagination went crazy when first saw it and thought diar wolf . Yea I butchered that

    Your preform is called a turtle back scraper for obvious reasons a little finer than most

      @@danielcline7413 seems pretty preform to me over turtle back scraper since it’s worked the same on both sides to the point it’s at. Thanks for commenting

    The first tooth looks like a juvenile bison, but the second one is a molar from a carnivore - my guess would be a black bear! Killer find! The grooved rocks are fossil sea urchins, very common in Central Texas. Great day!

    Looks like maybe 3 toed horse teeth, they were around with the Mammoths and they have teeth similar to what you have
