Installation of the New Orrell Footbridge (with Extra Filming) - Time-lapse by Regenology

Installation of a new replacement footbridge in Orrell, a suburb of Wigan, Greater Manchester, England in 2020.
After the demolition of the original footbridge, providing public footpath access across the slip-road at J26 of the M6 / M58, due to being hit by a HGV, a new bridge had to be installed.
Residents on either side of a busy stretch of the M6 have been reunited by the new £1.8 million construction.
A E Yates civil engineering deployed a 24/7 working schedule, with the majority of works undertaken at night. Short term time-lapse photography and onsite filming with a manned camera was provided by Regenology Ltd.
