I hear ya. How many times have I shocked myself or let the magic of how chips escape in a puff of smoke? To many, that was a FAIL in the negative way. To me fail is the acronym of "First Attempt In Lesson." I have learned from these attempts. And I still fail today but am getting better each time in everything I do.

Technically, not chargers, those are AC/DC adapters. All they do is convert AC to DC. The charging circuitry is in the device.

From 30+ 5v chargers, couple solar panels from lawn lights, couple old for door speakers from my car, even two pairs of those Bluetooth headphones that don't hold a charge anymore (so I don't use em)... I just need to get myself a soldering iron and some of those flashy color LEDs! 🚦🚨🔋💡🔊🏴‍☠️

I like how the crappy charger with no isolation at idea 4 said „output voltage 5-12V“. How to you know what approximate voltage it has without multimeter and if it‘s stable under different inout voltages? At least a good use for these crappy chargers, but you should add a fuse at the input to prevent them from catching fire.

Why not put your skills and knowledge to better use by making items that do not require an outside electrical feed. And make things people can use when the power is out in their homes, such as during severe weather and they need a way to charge a cell phone or have a led light that fits onto a hat or head gear of some sort in order to read a book in the dark, or searching the back of an unlit closet looking for a lost or misplaced item. Ya know, things that actually improve or add a bit of safety when there is no other regular options we normally rely on. Just sayin... the speakers are ok, the solar pwrd clock is genius but you could do so much more with your knowledge.

    • @beverlytate2669
      @beverlytate2669 3 роки тому

Use flux on parts first to allow solder to flow and this technique:
Iron on, solder on, solder off, iron off.
You want to heat the parts not the solder, then let the solder flow into/onto the hot wire, etc.
There are teachers who teach with words instead of whatever he's using as background noise here.
I suggest finding them and following their instructions, then come back to do these

kaalaman at maging karunungan at maging desisyon...
