Cool video.....just subbed from Arkansas. Looking to fish Manchac next year. The wife and I passed over it back in February. Been thinking about it ever since
Thanks for watching. Its a nice little area for fishing. Nice catfish, bass and perch get caught out there! Hope you make it out there soon, let me know how it goes.
@@Seththefisherman I have had good luck hugging the bank (south side of the pass) up to the 1st split. Careful though, it is shallow and lots of stumps. Then cross over as you head towards the lake try the first cut on your left, try the points there and try that shoreline to the next cut. Then head further towards the lake, cross back over and hit the 1st canal on the right (T Bayou), it normally holds a few in the first section up to where it splits left and right. Pull it up in Maps and it should make sense. Good Luck, hope you do well! Be safe out there and leave some fish for me... 😀
@@Seththefisherman Depends on the wind for the days prior to going. We just had bad weather and lots of wind so you can expect it to be murky for a few days until winds calm down for several days. Throw lures that vibrate and make sounds. Also don't underestimate working a dark colored worm against the bank. Good luck!

I have a bass tournament coming up in Manchac on April 2. We are launching at North Pass. Any tips or suggestions?
Is your boat small enough to fit under the bridge heading east towards the lake?
Yes! Yes it is!

Is the water usually clean in the bayous coming from the North Pass? Because the Pass itself is dirty right now.

Is that a speed worm
Can I get to this area in my kayak
Yes. U can fish the whole area leading up to the cut as well.
You ever see Aunti Julia?
Nope, but I've been to the old town (area) where she lived and know the story well.
New sub enjoying the channel 👍
Thanks for the sub. Hope to have some new content out soon!
