You're one of the best for jazz instruction videos on UA-cam. Usually it comes down to what material you show to illustrate the idea. Personally I'm a bit over learning new concepts from videos because it's not what makes you improve (and it's endless). Practicing real vocabulary is what is needed. So I look at instruction videos as material to play, just like actual recordings, only simpler (usually) and focused on one purpose. This is perfect.
Maybe I am wrong but I feel like on Youtuube There are a lot of Intermediate jazz lessons but there is really not a lot of content that is very advanced and helps to use previous ideas to get you to a really advanced level. For example there is a lot of basics about diminished 6 scales but there isnt lot of advanced lessons about this topic. Someone else feels the same? Also Jeremy I love your videos and they helped me a lot, Thank you So much :))
Helpful tutorial addressing the use of grace and ghost notes and the differences between them, among other things. I'm trying not to play "grhost" notes.
Hi “Justin”! On the webpage for the book, there are 3 different downloadable versions with different versions of the chord symbols (original chord symbols, implied chord symbols, and both juxtaposed). I didn’t include them in the physical book because I didn’t want the page to become overly crowded.
love your videos and content Jeremy.! not sure if you've ever thought about it, but could you consider using a higher quality camera for your vid? It seems like it's around 480p and I find it a little hard to watch with the graininess and frame rate, as well as the sound quality. I think you'd get more views, and wider reach with a small upgrade in production :)
We all need a little grace sometimes…in every sense of the word.
Thank you Jeremy - Grace & Peace!

There but for the grace of God go I. Thanks Jeremy!
Lovely arrangement. Grace

Awesome! I just ordered your book and look forward to reading through it and picking up some new ideas. Hi, Jeremy!
Maybe you can use Amazing grace as a tune to showcase these embellishments to the melody.
Go grace notes! Rah rah raha 🎉
👍 great tutorial 🙏
Grace video but why no chord symbols in the book?

I haven't watched the video yet, but yes, that's me, I don't use enough grace notes.

Heard! Let me know if you have any suggestions. I’m winging it on the tech end but always happy to upgrade.
I noticed you only picked standards in the public domain - too much effort to try to license something?
Yep, I don’t really know what I’m doing legally, and fortunately, there’s lots of great standards that are entering the public domain every year
😅😅
How dare you!
3:23: "Because the right hand is on the beat.." You meant the left hand. It's OK, there's a bit of Joe Biden in all of us.
