I just got this carrier yesterday and I'm 30 minutes from the end of my shift.
I can say I absolutely love it! My armor fit in it perfectly, it fits me well, is very comfortable and just looks great! I've had complements all night on it!
I hope they still make these when and if I ever wear it out! BEST CARRIER YET!
If you cant get your body armor in this vest that is complete user error, or you ordered the wrong size. I just got my armorskin today and my armor fit into it perfectly and I didnt need the tutorial to show me how. A few moments of playing with it and it was pretty self explanatory.
As a person who wore one of these every day for 6 months I can say with a high degree of confidence that this is in no way comfortable as well as a giant pain to adjust and keep adjusted throughout the shift. The design of the armorskin defeats the purpose of an external carrier, which absolutely has to be custom to allow for both better weight distribution and a better fit. Even with the right size I still end up looking like a slob with excess material all over... especially in the shoulders and the bottoms and sides. I had to go two sizes down to get the right size. I'm gonna be honest here, I went back old school and wore my vest under my uniform shirt until I finally gave up and shelled out the cash for an custom external carrier.

Couldnt have said it better. This is complete garbage and it's well worth spending the money for the custom external carrier.

My department just started using the Armor Skin last week and its terrible. I'm all for the exterior vest carrier, but Blauer screwed this up. Its poor quality and a pain in the ass to put on.
Couldnt agree more. It looks cool but when you actually wear it, its garbage. It's not comfortable, looks like crap and not made with the cop in mind. A very cheap alternative to an outer vest carrier. Much better to spend the money for a custom external carrier.

@@5Legacy78 They're optional with our department. I tried it for two shifts and couldn't stand it. I never understood the concept of wearing a carrier inside of a carrier. It was hard to get adjusted, and I felt like I was fiddling with it the entire shift. I'm thinking about saving up and buying my own custom order outer carrier from Bluestone.
I agree it looks horrible... at least on this guy but for anyone who is concerned with dress and appearance such as myself can work it until it looks sharp. i finally got it figured out. i wear it over the polo instead of class A

This brand vest are the worst. It is a pain to install the vest panel. It looks easy here because they are using an oversized vest in comparison to the panel.

Yeah it's garbage. I'm really glad my dept. uniform allowance paid for it and not me. I now have a custom carrier and this thing has retired itself to my locker never be worn again.
I wear the vest tight. Looks like shit. No offense.

looks horrible. the guy wearing the uniform in the video looks frumpy and the new vest looks just terrible.
That's what I thought. Their model looks like a soup sandwich. These vests suck.
