24:08 I did this too (biologist here), it´s tissue embedded in a paraffine block that you cut into extremely thin slices, then use special kinds of chemicals to colour different types of tissue so you can see what you´ve got under a microscope. Even works with bone.
It would help if the bird names had been given, as there are birds whose plumage is very brilliant: Gouldian finch, Mandarin duck and Wilson's Bird of Paradise being three. Check them out. Nature has some gorgeous colours.
