    This used to be on PBS about 20 years ago and I'd keep one episode on the VCR at all times in case I needed to take a nap. Nothing but this and Bob Ross' "The Joy of Painting" would be more certain to put me into a coma...;)

    Michelin starred restaurant that has box of Uncle Ben's rice in the background. Not exactly Carolina Gold. Cooking has come far.

    Foie gras is repugnant. Great Chefs should've refused to showcase any recipe using it, in the same way that most stores refuse to stock it. I guess it's a sign that we've improved our sensibilities a little bit since the '90s, though.

      Please spare us your woke self righteous bs. Are you wearing name brand shoes made by some 10 year old from China? Do you use a car powered by gasoline from an oppressed middle eastern country?     The narrator needs to learn that there is an r with words that end in r. Peppa and vinega, yikes it's as though someone just axed me a question about scrimp prep.
