Hey, so have you tried to STAB yourself when in any part of the game when you have the choice to? If you do it in Whitespace you earn GAME OVER screen, but in other parts when you do so Sunny wakes up in the real world at night. Also, there was no electricity in the house, no wonder Sunny threw up his steak. It didn't microwave properly.

spoileers btw I should correct you, if you stab yourself in white space as part of the story you wake up, i haven't seen any other instance of being able to stab yourself except in black space which takes you back to black space, i haven't seen any instance of stabbing yourself giving a game over screen myself however i could be mistaken however if you stab yourself in white space as part of the story you wake up not stabbing yourself elsewhere it's only white space that wakes you up

@@Maximo2204 This was a while ago, it's been patched out. Omori can no longer not succumb twice in a fight. The succumbing mechanic before was why abbi's eye was used in the perfect heart fight before the patch.
I think the songs are excellent, but most people miss out on the names of the songs. The names are sometimes silly, but like an arubrey's case (it means everything) it furthers the players understanding of the emotions she's feeling in the moment.
It worth mantioning the fact that most osts that play in the real life gameplay,specially at the end of the game change their tone from silly melodies to horrifying and sad melodies, noteworthy examples are OMORI and OMORI_ALTER being probebly one of the only osts in a video game that i actually felt the pain behind it

yeah, sunny's friends are amazing, but rehabilitation isn't really sunshine and rainbows yknow. he loved mari just as much as any of them, and being her killer really had its toll on him, which is even more evident in the final fight.

As someone who got saved from a suicide attempt by his mom back when I was 12, I just want to say that you won't regret it. Look at every good thing happening in your life from this point, and eventually you'll realize how many rays of light you would've missed in your life if you died on that day. Life gets extremely rough sometimes. It might even push you over the limit of what you can take and bring you to very dark places. But then better days come eventually. Those dark moments in life pretty much are life itself challenging you, and challenges are what makes you push your limits and grow into a better and stronger person. It makes you become a Survivor :) I'm glad that Omori helped you stop and I think you can be proud of yourself. Because at that moment when you stopped yourself, you've just conquered your pain at a crucial moment. I don't know if that battle is over for you, but on that day you've won a fight. Be proud of yourself for that :)
Omori is my comfort game and always will be. while it contains a lot of my triggers snd phobias it makes me feel understood and safe. the art style is also so so cute and it matches the dark themes well.

What I love about Omori as well is how Omocat could have easily just made it a comic story It would have taken hell of a lot less time, and probably would have reached more people, but they didn’t. Omori’s story wouldn’t be the same without its gameplay element, and how it forces you to go through (most) of it being attentive. Also, Omori being expressive is a good way to describe. Every aspect has so much personality and heart poured into it, and it’s no surprise that Toby Fox worked on a little bit of it as well
"Sunny is near useless without his knife." .... makes sense, because Sunny was small to begin with, but ALSO spent the last 4 years of his life laying in bed and sitting around in his room doing absolutely nothing. The other characters make perfect sense too, Aubrey liked to play baseball and has decent stats because she liked to swing a bat around a lot (even in the dream world she uses a lot of baseball type stuff, and a bat, which means she did even before Mari's death). Kel has an obscenely high Juice stat because he's very athletic and energetic, he plays basketball which is why everything Kel does involves a ball. Hero, especially in the real world, has ridiculous HP because he's older than everybody, he's an adult now which would make him more mature physically, though not athletic like Aubrey or Kel. The one thing I don't really 'get', though is why Aubrey has 25 Juice in the real world and Sunny has 55, lol. That makes no sense. But in the Dream World, their stats are very well designed with the characters' personalities and backstories in mind.

At the beginning of Omori's developpement I was homeschooled for 2 years and barely left the house, so i hikkikomori'd at the same time omori was being developped hikkikomori-ing
Some people say the game is difficult. Those are the people who missed the emotion tutorial and just straight up tried to power through the Sweetheart fight while enraged. Some people say the game is easy. Those are the people who spent an inexplicable length of time grinding EXP. I never grinded. I fought Humphrey on like level 26 or something. Died once during the playthrough, on Sweetheart. I believe the game is well-balanced if you don't play it like an idiot.
Grinding is somewhat needed for the last day of the second route, but not the main game. Also, I beat sweetheart while at the maximum disadvantage and it was extremely easy. If you're at a disadvantage you need to strategize instead.
Actually, I remember a youtuber playing Omori and Omori went down to 1 Heart, then when Omori was attacked again, It actually showed a Game Over screen.
Man when I got the good ending I felt this feeling of relief. And while playing it i felt sad, and so much emotions this is game, THIS GAME... Is a great game a masterpiece (a emotional rollercoaster)
As a small sidenote about the gameplay. The Characteurs can furfill pretty much all roles they are not set in stones. Hero is the less interesting per say: He is a healer and a tank as a lot of his attake are eather about redirecting the ennemy attack to him or healing the party, the only exeption i can think of is spicy food whom damage the enemy and make em angry (Tho it's VERY easely misable being in a zone you are not required to visite and being given by a characteur who straigt up dosent talk to any party members exepte Hero and nobody even mention this guy) Kel can be used as a support who inflict status effect (Heck that's how i used it the first time i played) but if you look at his skill and make the right build he can DOMINATE anything on this fucking game so easely that's not even fun anymore. He tho is the one who will go down the first even Omori has more HP Aubrey is more of a Tank per say as she has the most Hp but she deals very good damage and his the only one who, in the early game, Can make others happy whitch can be Very interesting. (Tho you can say somthing similar with Kel who is the only one who can make foes and friends Angry tho Aubrey as more moves related to making eather her or other happy) Omori can be used as a damage dealer especially in the Hikikomori route, tho something not obvious at first glance happend in the Omori route that's makes it hard to use it to it's full potential, He is more made to be a "Magic user". Pretty much all of his skill have a double effect if eather he or the foe has an specifique emotion witch make him a pretty good damage dealer... As long has he has juice... If he doesent... yeah he is pretty useless...Not much else to say.

as somome who has mental issues and hallucinations i related to the way this game expressed it all and even the art style. it did a great job i love how it expressed guilt also the themes slap. but the aubrey fight one hit harder then expected just really emphasizing the reality of the situation and that these are scared confused kids hurting each other

Omori can be used as a damage dealer especially in the Hikikomori route, tho something not obvious at first glance happend in the Omori route that's makes it hard to use it to it's full potential, He is more made to be a "Magic user". Pretty much all of his skill have a double effect if eather he or the foe has an specifique emotion witch make him a pretty good damage dealer... As long has he has juice... If he doesent... yeah he is pretty useless...Not much else to say.

I looked at the credits, and saw that Toby Fox helped make the music, which is epic
he only contributed one track and didn't have any other involvement with the game's soundtrack
as somome who has mental issues and hallucinations i related to the way this game expressed it all and even the art style. it did a great job i love how it expressed guilt
also the themes slap. but the aubrey fight one hit harder then expected just really emphasizing the reality of the situation and that these are scared confused kids hurting each other
