Due to a copyright claim, one of the runs towards the end of the video had to be trimmed out. Hopefully the cut isn’t too jarring, the fully edited video will remain available on Patreon: patreon.com/SavePointDocs Thanks to all the runners, glitch hunters, and speedrun enthusiasts who made this video possible. This video took a tremendous amount of research, scriptwriting, editing, and run analysis to create. I have a newfound respect for both the speedrunning community and other speedrun documentary creators. When I came up with the idea for this project I had no idea the kind of journey I signed myself up for. Going from knowing nothing about Breath of the Wild speedruns, to knowing all eras of the Any% route was time consuming but extremely interesting. I hope you enjoy the final product that’s a result of that. With that said, please visit this Google Doc for a full list of the runners featured, music, and other sources that greatly assisted in the research of this video: shorturl.at/RnHcr Thanks for watching.
Gymnast really is the goat of zelda speedruns, apart from all his work on the other titles, he recently was the first to get a sub 1 hour echoes of wisdom run as well
Most of the time the language seen throughout runs is unrelated to the runner’s nationality. During the beginning of Any% runners were experimenting with which language would be the fastest for beating the game, it was discovered later on that French was the quickest language for beating the game. Though, new discussions have seen that it’s possible French text & English voice acting may be the quickest language settings for saving as much time as possible.

I'm about 15 mins in and I have to note that abt half of the speedrunners on the Top are German or atleast from a German speaking country

Can you do a monster hunter video.
Great video but I think people just don't have the attention span to watch it I mean you could argue that the intro is 10 mins
