Hey Allie, great lesson. New Subscriber. I already play fingerstyle guitar. But you are doing a great service to those that are wanting to learn. As I always say, we're all always learning something new from each other. Great channel.
Allie was very generous and helpful to me when I started to play guitar. I began to play April 9, the day after the solar Eclipse. Now I've come across her again. This video is great, very slow and succinct. It's late but I will be back. Thanks Allie and great good luck.
Hi Allie. Always wanted to play more finger style. The detail and repetition is great but being a video that can be replayed as you mention I'm not sure why you are repeating the same video clips over again. If it where a private lesson in person the need to repeat would be there. I got lost a few times knowing I could just replay parts of the video to go over but was seeing that I was just watching a repeat several times of the same thing. I have subcribed and liked and will use this video to pratice! Thanks Bill
Will you do more like this tutorial for FingerStyle lessons nice to be able practice with you and Mr Colby have made it where one can practice with you and that style seems to fit many trying to learn on UA-cam thanks
Hello Allie. This is an excellent teaching video. I like your style. In some ways I'm a little further advanced but I still struggle. If you know how to play St. James Infirmary is a blues fingerstyle, would you make a detiled teaching video? If you don't know the song or don't want to make a video, no worries. I'm still subscribed and look forward to seeing what's next. Cheers
This video provides a fresh, easy and fully explained pathway for learning, I appreciate your no rush technique. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing.
Greetings from France.
Very nice! I enjoyed the tutorial and look forward to more. Thank you very much.

I don't often comment on youtube but felt compelled to do so today. Great video. I like your approach to the lesson. Thank you
@@roncakes thank you 🤘🏻
Thanks for this! Have one year of learning and now want to move to fingerstyle, love the beautiful, soft sounds this can create. ❤
Great lesson. I like the way you break everything down into smaller exercises. I just subscribed and look forward to future videos. Thanks !

@@Rustydog57 that was definitely a mistake on my end. I uploaded before I checked the whole video. Hope it’s not too much trouble to skip ahead.

It's a killer song-- let me see what I can do to break it down.
Also, does this style go for all songs? I am trying to apply this to Wagon Wheel but it doesn’t sound as good as House of the Rising Sun
@@christineweatherford5852 wagon wheel is a 4/4 song, so you need to use a 4/4 picking pattern.
