I have a Britannia 2016 £2 coin, it has errors the three spikes are not aligned and the outer ring seems as tho its going in a little, is this worth a rare?
I have a mis-strike 1997 Technology £2. With 3 errors. Are you saying that mis-strikes are not desirable? It has a hole, an offset strike on the "tails" side, and the writing on the rim is misaligned.
There is a magna carta error also known as the schuey error!!!! The chair that the central figure is sitting on has a cud of metal on to the left hand side below the 2 bands!!
Hi, great video. I found two 2016 2 pound coins - The First World War 1914-1918. One the edge inscription For King and Country...they are reversed (one is inlined with the Queen head position and the second one is inlined with the other side of the coin). Is one of the two and error and therefore valuable?
@@mikeharrington5593 from what I have read it would damage the coin to press it out and would require a hydraulic press to do so...i think I will contact royal mint and see if they will inspect coin...
Got em all, dont know about any error coins though as it takes too long for me to go though all my change with a magnifying glass & microscope. Just spent almost 2 Days looking for a dual dated £1 in my bottle(s) change & that was not fun. Did not find one though.

1997 had the old style queens head on it, 1998 had the new design on. So I guess Rachel was refering to the ones with the same queens head on?

I have the DNA 2 pound with insert back to front
Dont know if it's an error coin
I suspect some scammer has manually punched out the insert, reversed it, & then tried to sell it to a gullible buyer.
