This is always my favorite version of this song, I’ve been singing it this way since I heard it 4 years ago. Want to cover this version but with instruments so bad! The way in which she sings defers so much from the original but I still can’t seem to explain how, because most of it’s the same, maybe just the diction. Will always be my favorite cover and version of this song, even when listening to the original. I hope this specific group feels proud of their work :)
And whoever chose this song, THANK YOU, I can’t imagine never having heard this cover of a song I loved so much when I was younger, made me love it SO much more. It feels more wholesome sung this way. Much more fun to sing as as female as well, in this cover.
