Facts! I'm so excited!!! I hope I don't buy one though. I've got a trident and tiger 800 that are both damn near perfect. Every time I push my bikes to the limit I am always surprised at how well they perform. I've never been surprised by any action that my bike makes while pushing hard. I've been a Triumph fan boy since I was 15 in 1999. But, for good reason. They make awesome, reliable, high build quality bikes. You'd have to be crazy not to like triumph.

One thing I can say about triumph. Good luck finding parts for it. I get bikes front 2017 that I can’t even find a footpeg for let alone a top end or anything else. Hopefully they get it together if they are making dirtbikes.

My honest opinion is Triumph have been producing some great bikes in the recent years. I mean really great bikes, meaning I'm pretty confident they'll produce a top notch product. The only thing that will determine most people's opinion more than anything else, will be the it's price point. I'm confident they'll be building a great bike, it's how much they can build it for that will be the biggest factor. It's alright really wanting a bike it's another thing being able to afford it as well. Hopefully it's reasonably priced.

I think amateur contingency payouts are going to be the key to the future of mx more than over the top development. In a retail market the bikes are almost $10,000 and plenty fast for 95% of us. Leaving a balance or adding into the budget for essential safety items like proper suspension setup is key. People will pay for it one way or the other, injuries or money. I want to see this sport hold on to the grass roots and cultivate the talent without going Nascar/formula 1. A

It has to be sub 11,000 to have a chance. For me to buy it, I'd have to see versions such as trail and mx. With their street bike heritage, a dual sport would compliment very nicely and possibly bring others into the sport. Ultimately, i need a 350 from them to be really interested. We need the euro bike to push the agenda on the middle motor class🤙cant wait to see what the Japanese come back with to rival them. Possibly a revival of the xr350? Im loving all the competition now the more manufacturers the better! Maybe someday Cannondale or another u.s based brand will try their hand and give us something to be proud of. That would be massive for the sport and innovation!

I am hyped about the bike as it’s a unique though I don’t trust buying first generation of any bike especially as I’ve always leaned more towards Japanese due to dealer network being much more accessible compared to the euros where I’m from. If triumph wants to win over customers, it starts at customer interactions with the dealer network.

That frame shown, those long welds running to the neck do not look pretty. I guess they must be strong, embarrassing having welds looking like that. Maybe the Robots are not into visuals and uniform laying in the runs. Being familiar with precision custom welding jobs, they have superior finish to Triumph's welds. The old school Bronzes welds done with inline fluxes look superior. My friend associate Ken McKintosh Racing NZ welds are stunning to look at and superb strength. To be honest Triumph's welds they are the worst appearing welds I have seen, maybe production will be better ?. Well hope their MX bike is a success.

To me, Triumph has botched this so bad from a PR standpoint. I was excited at the initial announcement. I couldn't even tell you approximately when that was because it has been far too long. Now they come out and show us the bare frame!? Keep your mouth shut until you have a bike to show!
