+OmKol You should probably need to get 100 rings before to turn to Super Sonic (Hyper Sonic on coming soon Sonic 3 and Knuckles Remastered)and there you defeat the boss with Super Sonic without getting the ring of 5 ( if youre fast)

Wish they would release a PC version of this. This is the definitive version of Sonic 2 and I hate playing games on my phone, the touch screen controls suck for this game. Would rather play on my computer with a controller with buttons or keyboard.
I played it in an Android emulator, and used my DualShock 4 controller with it. Just gotta use something that makes the controller send keyboard buttons. WASD for up, left, down, right, P pauses/start button in Android version, and 1,2,3 are ABC/ Then just set touchscreen control opacity to 0 to hide them. Works great.
