Well that's because some of us are used to playing platformers with controllers, or a keyboard. The mobile controls felt really alien and hard to get used to.
My fingers are too big now sadly. Plus I lack a working controller. My MOGA controller doesn't work on my Samsung Galaxy S8. I do wish there was a way I could screencast the game to my SmartTV tho.

Im fine with lybrinth zone but the act 3 of it is soooo hard in my opinion but umm i think green hill zone and scrap brain zone is easiest in my opinion the final zone easy really and im pretty new to old sonic games so im still a noob but i finished the game in 3 ive just unlocked knuckles and tails the cheat mode is kinda to play in i messed around alot in the cheat mode i abused tails alot
And it still manages to be kind of fun. Nowhere near the others, but still fun. Now look at the worst zones in other Sonic games - Sandopolis has no fun whatsoever, for example. Metropolis is cool, though

If and when I get the time I plan on doing Sonic 2 and Sonic CD as well. I do hope these remakes are eventually released on Steam/Consoles considering Sonic CD was and that is the same engine, but seeing how there already emulations of the original Sonic games on Steam and consoles (as well as whatever licensing costs are needed to put the games on these marketplaces) that may not happen anytime soon. What I'm hoping for is that if and when they decide to port Sonic 3&K on this engine then they'll all get added as one big chunk to Steam and consoles. (I personally can't wait to see Sonic 3&K redone with this engine.)
It's called SCR Screen Recorder Pro ($5) on the Google Play store. It requires that you have a rooted device to record, and I can record in smooth 1080p because I'm recording from my Nexus 5. There is a trial version to see how it fares on your device. The app recently became able to record internal audio and that's how I was able to record this.

Precision platforming with speed on mobile with virtual joysticks is bad unresponsive and frustrating. Theres a reason controllers and keyboards exist lol

I guess a lot of timing and practice. :p When I played this, I plugged a Controller into my phone via USB-OTG, which is a LOT easier to play. Oh and when it comes to jumping, the jumping is actually variable, the longer you hold the button the higher you go (until the peak of the jump) it's good when you want to make smaller jumps.

nah, at the time of playing this I just plugged a controller into my phone, I can't stand playing this game with touch screen controls, they're great touch screen controls but touch screen controls don't work well with platformers in general
I think he used an USB OTG and connected a controller and in effect of that the on screen touch is probably gone although each movement or button click I thought it would have shown it was being moved on screen
