A white roof will save a fortune on your electric bill if you’re going to use air conditioning. Even with no aircon a home with a white roof will be vastly cooler. I get about a 12 degree Fahrenheit cooling . Second if you’re not that hip on a white roof then put heat risers on the top of the roof ridges, not the same as vents in the soffits, got to let the heat out otherwise the roof will act as an oven and contain the heat. Best to do both. House looks great!

I thought of white too but, within a year will look dirty and worn. There will be soffit vents but I was talked out of ridge vents or cans to exhaust the heat as they don't do that here. Something about hurricanes. Thanks

Very nice designed. If it’s in your budget I would have the electrical conduit installed for a future solar installation. That way in the future if you did decide to install solar you have the conduit to the panel already installed saving you some money on chipping out and repairing your walls. I’m going out on a limb and say the electrical panel is going to be in the generator room. So if you are thinking on doing solar down the road. I would provisioning a conduit run.

If you want solar in the PH do it later. Because if you are buzy with a building permit you have to pay extra and need a extra permid

Good thought. I will speak with the electrician. There will be 2 electrical panels due to electrical demand. They will be located in the pantry.

Nice design Kevin. A Tip i meet many friends they bought Spanisch tile span and they were sorry that they did. Just colloured longspan is better because the Texscrews are making dents in the plates in that there will be water and it will rust and make the plates weak. You can check that out in the store

LOL. She's Asian so always add 10 years to how old you think she looks. I'm 60 and she's 33. Thanks.
