I was watching another video of yours and saw you made an update for this couch. I brought this couch in February. Parents were visiting after I moved and I just really wanted them to be comfortable. I saw your video ordered it after a few days, it arrived super quick. It was beautiful unpacking. And my parents loved it! I was really concerned about the pilling. I come from a family of 7 and was not expecting family to visit often this year. I had my two younger brothers visit. One lounged on the couch more than the other and there was pilling but not too bad. I washed the covers shortly after. I washed the small pillow cover first and it seemed fine so I washed all of them inside out. I felt like they didn’t really get clean washing inside out because they didn’t feel too wet. So I washed them again the same day turning them from inside out and ended up letting them air dry. Then my older brother and younger brother came to visit and I knew my couch was going to be put to the test. My older brother is a lounger 😆, which is fine. I was a little concerned. After a week and a half they left and I thought my couch was ruined. I’m being dramatic, but I was worried because I could tell there was more pilling than any other time. I ended up just using my fabric shaver and it was like new. This week I slept on my couch all week. I’m not sure why, maybe a little motivation for me to finish a school paper. After this week, I just finished cleaning up and using my fabric shaver and it’s like new again. I have a 10 year old daughter and a small 8lbs dog. My dog is not allowed on the couch, but when I’m not home I’m not sure if she stays clear. Me and my daughter do favor a side so I have flipped the cushions. We use blankets but usually to cover ourselves and not the couch. Honestly, I’m ok with the upkeep of the couch because I love to clean, and have a weekend routine cleaning day so it doesn’t bother me. Sometimes my drive to work can be 30 mins to an hour and I find my self coming home, changing clothes and lounging on the couch all night. We really use it and love it. Mines is also on I believe laminate wood floors and it does not slide what so ever. have thought what if I just get too tired of the upkeep and because I can sew, I said I would swap out the fabric for a different fabric because I just love it that much. I only have a 3 piece with the ottoman and would love to add more pieces in the future which is kind of nice. Sorry so long but just wanted to provide some of my input. Thanks for suggesting this couch! My place is really coming together.
What did you use to wash the cushion covers? And how did you wash them in the machine? Cold wash/warm? Normal detergent? I’m looking to do the same but can’t find much info besides calling Ashley and spot cleaning.
@@brianalicata4327 I used my normal tide pods and washed on cold. I think I picked the delicate option on my washer. I was worried because my washer is a top handle one and has the thing in the middle. But it was ok.
@@kaim1810 awesome thanks so much for the info, I’m going to try it on the small side pillow covers first then hopefully i can wash my back cushion covers! Appreciate it!
Thank you so much for the review! I was on the fence because of some reviews but my neighbor has had hers for 2 years and still loves it. I don’t mind the maintenance and I loved hearing all the details in your review.
I have this exact sofa (as a sectional) and I love it. I washed one of the pillow back covers on delicate, hung it outside to dry, and it came out perfect. I would definitely recommend this sofa.
I just bought the Tanavi sectional & ottoman because of your video. I had 20 different couches options from 6 different companies that I had on my "review" list but I walked into Ashley and it was love at first sight lol.Thank you for such a great, detailed and honest review. I have 2 weeks to clean out everything in my living room before it comes. I'm so excited 😊
WOW such a very detailed review. I have a similar couch and sprayed it down completely with Scotchgard for ALL WEATHER OUTSIDE FURNITURE.. my couch is 2 years old and still looks like the day I purchased it. All of my fabric surfaces in my home received the same treatment. So much more affordable than paying the price the FURNITURE companies will charge you. They are simply doing the same thing.
I purchased my couch after watching your first video about your couch. Would purchase again as well. I have washed my ottoman cover. Came out just fine. Hope this help someone. Have a blessed day!
I have this couch and I love it. There is pilling In the areas I use a lot, but I use a shaver and it looks brand new. I use my pill shaver once every 2 months and it looks brand new
I purchased this couch in January after watching your videos! We absolutely love it! Now, my cushions do move a lot but I am going to try putting a pad under them so they don’t. Hoping that works. Regardless, I love the couch! I got the 5 piece and it makes our home look so cozy! Thanks for the videos!!
I have this couch also thanks to your initial review. I have had to wash two covers and haven't had an issue. The covers are thin material so I wouldn't make it a habit but I was dog sitting and the dog pee'd 🤦♀️ on the couch so no choice. I let it air dry and it was perfectly fine.
I have the same couch. I wash my covers on a gentle or delicate cycle, inside out. I use a gentle detergent.. There Re stickers on the inside. MAKE SURE they are all off. I air dry. It actually helps with fluffing and tighten the covers after use
i love the detailed review of this sofa! thank you!! now that its been about a year since this vid was posted, does your opinion change at all about this sofa? any more negatives/positives to consider? is the fabric performance fabric (water/stain resistant)?
Thank you! I feel the same- love it and my only rec is to try to use throw blankets when lounging for longer periods of time to avoid pilling. Other than that, no complaints! I also use folex for touch up cleaning and works like a charm.
Fantastic job representing Ashley’s in your video! I just started there. Thank you for the information. I will be definitely be following your channel!
@AshleyKKollections I know this review is recent, but seriously thank for this. My parents have 2 17 year old Ashley sofas in our front room, and now, they are no good. the loveseat is fine. but the bigger leather couch. the cushions are sagging. I slept on the big couch for a year and a half so I can give up my bed for my awesome step-grandmother who is amazing. Don't know where my folks got their 12 year old recliner, pretty sure at ashley furniture and not la-z-boy. that chair sucks too. Now when you sit in it, it clunks. chair doesn't lean back when you sit in it. is it comfy? yeah. another complaint about the chair, tears in the leather. the edge of the seat where the back of your legs are placed over, there are major tears in the leather due to my 2 family puppies that jump up on the chair. i don't sit in that chair. i use to back in 2012. but not any more. it's called, grandpa's chair, cause my step-grandfather, use to sit in that chair when he'd come stay with my folks and me. i use to have a beautiful blue soft la-z-boy recliner, and oh my goodness, i loved it. it was passed down from my grandma, to her son, in 2012. but 8 years later in 2020 during covid, my uncle threw it away in the dumpster cause his neece and nephews on his wife's side of the family broke my precious blue recliner. planning on getting a la-z-boy. i asked my biological father to help me get one, and he's going to help me get one. my family's getting ashley furniture soon this year. my step-dad and mom. i'm kinda not interested in ashley. an ashley opened up in my town a few months ago. um, no thank you. but yeah, back to the big couch my folks have, the cushions sag so bad. it squeaks when you sit on it. and my god, my family's leather recliner, the 13 year old beat-up leather recliner that's now ripped up on the cushion of the chair, it squeaks too. i'm definitely getting a la-z-boy. found some that are old school. None of this new school power recliners. old school, i'm talkin' about the manual recliners. my step-grandma and step-grandpa got 2 la-z-boy leather recliners from la-z-boy in my old hometown 11 and a half years ago. i went into la-z-boy in that city with my family to help them buy them. my step-grandma brought hers to her new home last year while her husband's stayed behind at her old house since he accidentally wore it out. leather in both recliners is super thin. but my step-grandma's? i love her chair. comfortable every time i go to her place. i hate sectionals too. hard to get out of them. i gotta to crawl on all fours to crawl over the automan to get off them. ug. i hate them. but yeah, i'm getting my own la-z-boy chair like my old one. a blue recliner with nice padded arms, a plush seat, a rocking recliner with that beautiful soft blue chenille fabric. pretty sure what i'm talking about. found one i love. seriously get a la-z-boy. my step-grandmother's chair is in good shape til this day. i sit in her chair and it feels like she just bought it yesterday. i mean, my family got it for her yesterday. even though that chair and my step-grandpa's la-z-boy were bought back in 2012. hell of a lot better than my mother's ratty old leather recliner that's just terrible. "son go sit on grandpa's chair," my mother says to me as i sit at the kitchen island. "Hell no," is what i want to say. when i get my chair, i'm putting the bitch in my room. she's going to sit next to my queen size bed. and when I want to rock in that chair and feel the chenille fabric touching my skin, as i sit on that couch, i will. family i live with will be jealous but i don't care. i don't, care!!! christmas present i will ask from my father this year, to hlep me get a recliner. la-z-boy. no ashley recliner. nope. a la-z-boy. same exact size of chair like my old blue one that i miss so much. same material. soft blue chenille fabric, and old school classic la-z-boy look. hope this helps to anyone that wants a recliner like the one i'm looking for too.
Ashley, how do you keep the cushions from sliding forward? Also I see there are ties under the cushions, what are those for? (I actually have this couch)
I purchased mines 2 weeks ago because of your uploads. I won’t get it until July, but I’m excited. It was between this and the American Sig/Value City one. I also got the Ashley Langsford bed, so I just went ahead and got 2 pieces from one store. Side note: I’m loving your barstools. I checked the description, but I don’t see a link. Where are they from, please?
Lol I was choosing between this and the American sig one as well. I got the tanavia. I also wanted the Langford bed too but fiance wanted to keep our bed a little longer ugh lol
If you are referring to the Plush from Value City - girl, I sold that sofa after only one month (very low and very uncomfortable)....then turned around and got this one in January and absolutely love it!.....you are going to love it!
@@carolinagirl3110 yeeeees! That was the reason I also didn’t want it. I forgot that. It’s so low and with elderly parents, I need something they can get out of.
Can you please let me know the height of the sofa if the legs were removed and the back cushions were removed? I'm trying to see if it will fit through my narrow door (26"). Thanks!
Hey there! I've been watching your reviews in my decision to purchase this sectional. Did you get the insurance protection with it? Can't decide if I need it or if the folex and washing would be enough.
Do you find it comfortable? I purchased it about a week ago and haven't liked it thus far. It moves all over the place, and I honestly didn't realize when I bought it that none of the cushions are sewn in. I only saw it in store and didn't see a video beforehand. I also find I can't really sit on it in any comfortable way without pressure on my lower back especially. I assume if I get it on carpet, maybe use velcro, to prevent it from moving and the cushions from sliding, that I may like it a bit more. So far within a week it looks very sloppy all the time. My last couch was a sewn in leather one piece so it's a lot different than that :)
Hi! I still love it and find that it’s comfy. The Velcro could help but I like the benefit of being able to flip and fluff the cushions. I’ve heard they also make an attachment for each piece to clip to so they don’t slide (depending on the floor you have). Maybe you could also add a piece of foam under the cushion for added back support? I hope this helps! 🙏🏼
Hi Ashley, could you tell me what the dimensions are in this couch from total width like you have it arranged and height and seat depth? I'm very interested in this couch and want to make sure it works in my space!
I finally received the Interior Design couch I ordered, but I chose the mix of foam and feathers for the seats and it is way too firm for me. I'm thinking of returning it. Can you please tell me what the height is from the floor to where you sit? Thanks!
You have a very good videos in collection. Often helps me decide what to purchase or what not. You bring things into our considerations. Adore all your efforts! 😊 i was wondering if i could reach out to you to decide on the space alignment in my room. I'd really appreciate if you told me any way to reach out to you! 😊 Thanks again!
I love my couch I purchased it also because I absolutely loved yours but mine peels so bad. Ido have one kid but I take very well care of it and it peels so much. I do not recommend this couch if you are planning to sit on it regularly the material is beautiful but it’s not good. And it’s a German shepherd hair magnet (he does not lay on the couch). I love the way it looks and so do all my guests but i do regret purchasing it now and should have gone for a different material.
@AshleyKKollections Seriously thank you so much for this review. I'm looking for a recliner that's going to be comfy like my old one. blue, with soft chenille. and oh my gosh, if you get a recliner, get a chenille recliner. so soft. corduroy soft. the pandemic gave me bad P.T.S.D. I was diagnosed with general anxiety disorder, I lost loved ones to Covid19, an uncle of mine I was close to almost 2 and a half years ago, passed away. i'm looking for a safe space, a recliner to curl up in. If you want to know what my old recliner looked like, let me describe it to you. and my goodness, it was love at first sight in my chair. so my chair had beautiful soft chenille fabric, clean vertical lines going over the back of the chair, the cushion, and foot rest. and the horizontal lines were on the arms of the chair as well as the sides of it. so comfortable. i will post a recliner update on this channel i am commenting on. the channel i'm commenting to you from is a music based channel. but i will post a recliner review on that same channel. a chair for my back. i'm in my mid 30s and looking for something i can put next to my queen size bed, something i can call my cuddle space. next after my dad helps me get a la-z-boy recliner, a classic old school one, not a power one, but an old school one, next thing i will get after i get my chair is a weighted blanket and that's going to put me in paradise as i'm on cloud 9 in my new chair. will wait maybe until fall 2024 to get my recliner, possibly maybe before my 34th birthday on december 14 this year. wish me luck and please pray that la-z-boy will have a similar recliner in stock like my old 16 year old recliner. found one i love while I was looking at la-z-boy manual recliners online a few weeks ago. A classic recliner with a wooden handle. No power motorized recliner, none of that modern stuff. Just an old school recliner that’s padded, is so soft to the touch and a chair that I can sleep in if I just want to move from my bed to the chair since they’ll be sitting next to each other in my room. Taking the end table out of my room and replacing it with my chair. Also I am not getting a leather one cause leather sucks, and I don’t need a chair to sit in during the summer that’s made of leather and I’m sweating myself like crazy. Nice thing about chenille is that the beautiful soft clean lines keeps the chair warm too. Isn’t that so cool? Let me know if you ever sat in a recliner that’s so soft, chenille soft to the point where you refuse to not let anyone take over your spot except you. Lol. it's a gibson rocking manual la-z-boy recliner, the chair I came across a few weeks back. so soft. If you get a chair, get a la-z-boy. and don't worry i am not telling my mom i'm getting my chair cause she'll be jealous haha. my folks over here want ashley furniture, but for me, for my own man cave, my room, i'm getting a la-z-boy, a chair i can snuggle up in, a chair that can be placed next to my bed. will try to find a blue one, but if my local la-z-boy store doesn't have the blue recliner, the gibson model, i'm going to get their canyon denver brown color it's soft too like the blue one. chenille, heck yes, that's my material. reminds me of my grandpa's 29 year old chair and a half he got at montgomery ward back in the mid 90s. remember montgomery ward? and oh my god, that chair my grandpa had, it was a wall recliner, but my god, it smelled like a furniture store. comfy though. could fit 2 people in it. nice beautiful chenille fabric all over the chair. so so soft too. when my mom's youngest half sister whose the same age as me, when my aunt and i were kids 26 years ago, we'd stay at my grandpa's house, her dad's house that is, and my autn and i cuddle in his chair. so comfortable. i felt like i was in the clouds. and i don't blame you for not buying things from ashley. ashley is garbage. can't wait to get my la-z-boy gibson recliner. please, pray that la-z-boy has my blue chenille manual recliner. if you want the measurements, i'm getting a recliner like my old one, it's 44 inches wide, 43 inches tall, and 40 inches deep as the seat is concerned. my goodness, the pillowed arms, the biscuit style back, and that plush seat. keep me in your prayers that i find the right chair. finding my dream recliner like my old one my uncle threw out, is like me finding that beautiful blond a girl whose the same age as me. lol. and sitting in a la-z-boy, if you sat in one that has that chenille material, it's like you're being cuddled to sleep. being held. it's fantastic. it's a chair i will call my safe haven when it's put it in my room, set up next to my bed, a chair i can sit and play my guitars and film videos. wish me luck and god bless you.
The pilling is REAL with this couch. We try to keep it covered with blankets (we have 3 dogs and 2 kids) but that's not always an option. The cushions move a lot as well. We have to reposition them daily. I considered getting velcro but nixed that in case I want to rotate the cushions one day. All in all, this couch requires upkeep, however, it's very comfy so I guess it's worth it? Depends on your situation I suppose. Has anyone ever used the Bissel Little Green Pet Machine on this couch? Considering it for the areas on the back that we can't just throw in the washer and I'm concerned about discoloration from the cleaner.
Agreed with all the above! However love it so much it’s worth the upkeep! Also SWEAR by the green machine for it. I spilled a whole cup Of black coffee on it and had my new puppy pee on it, no issue! Just a little hot water and dawn soap took everything out!!
I would never buy this again. No children and 2 small dogs. The pilling is horrific. I have never had staining in a couch. This one shows everything!!!!I have done everything i have been told to do. You are saying to cover it before you use it. I would agree but isn’t the point of buying a couch to be able to use it.
I bought this couch 6 months ago a d it's horrible. The cushions come out easily, which I have to fix daily. The material is pilling and looks so worn down for only being 6 months. Ashley's furniture has horrible customer service. They were suppose to replace the cushion covers but I just found out today they discontinued this couch. I wouldn't recommend this couch at all.
I purchase the same couch and I must say your lying it peels very bad it’s not even 3month had to contact Ashley furniture recently to get someone to come take a look at it
@@carolinagirl3110 you must be a sales person at Ashley! You have snarky remarks for everyone with a negative review. You told me to get rid of my my 2 small dogs!
If you see this, you can get a much better dupe at Costco. If you have a problem with so much as a pillow, they will replace it. 😊 Do NOT but from Ashley!!!!!! I was told by a former manager! I have never had pilling in my life but I do on this. This person pushing her product doesn’t even use hers except for it being covered?
Like the furniture, Ron or Todd please save your company though, Poor management in Arcadia WI starting right in that foam mill and then the guy is getting awards to. Please investigate him and his girlfriend and his buddies.
I'm selling this exact same couch, 6 pc sectional, if anyone in California is interested. Definitely not ideal for children or pets but still very beautiful!
Ashley is not good quality, also what they call a sale is what most store,s call the regular price, the furniture is mostly linen that doesn’t ware well and it stretches out, also sounds and feel’s like a bale of hay ,most in store tables and chairs are loose if you move them ,very disappointing, made as cheap as possible, will never shop there again .

Also purchased this couch because of you
You’re so kind! Thank you so much! I do use the liketoknowit app with gives me a few pennies, so thank you for the support! ♥️
Ashley, how do you keep the cushions from sliding forward? Also I see there are ties under the cushions, what are those for? (I actually have this couch)
I’m not sure- I haven’t had this issue. The ottomans have Velcro. Perhaps if the ties don’t work you could add Velcro?
I purchased mines 2 weeks ago because of your uploads. I won’t get it until July, but I’m excited. It was between this and the American Sig/Value City one. I also got the Ashley Langsford bed, so I just went ahead and got 2 pieces from one store.
Side note: I’m loving your barstools. I checked the description, but I don’t see a link. Where are they from, please?
Lol I was choosing between this and the American sig one as well. I got the tanavia. I also wanted the Langford bed too but fiance wanted to keep our bed a little longer ugh lol
@@danacharisse3005 I HAD to have the Langsford, no ifs ands or buts
If you are referring to the Plush from Value City - girl, I sold that sofa after only one month (very low and very uncomfortable)....then turned around and got this one in January and absolutely love it!.....you are going to love it!
@@carolinagirl3110 yeeeees! That was the reason I also didn’t want it. I forgot that. It’s so low and with elderly parents, I need something they can get out of.
Loving this whole thread! I’m Gna have to look up this bed!!! And so happy you guys are my couch twins! 🫶🏼🥰🥰🥰😘
Thanks for sharing. The room looks lovely. Can you link the console table? Thanks!
Thank you! Unfortunately the console is from Homegoods and not available online. ☹️
Hi! I did get the insurance just to be safe. Thankfully we haven’t had to use it🙏🏼
Seems there's mixed reviews about this sectional. I'm on the fence between Arhaus sectional and the dupe from Ashley which is $2750 difference.
I know it’s right under 200 inches in length but unsure about the depth. If you click the link in the description it should list the depth. ☺️
I finally received the Interior Design couch I ordered, but I chose the mix of foam and feathers for the seats and it is way too firm for me. I'm thinking of returning it. Can you please tell me what the height is from the floor to where you sit? Thanks!
Oh wow! So sorry to hear that. I’ll def get that info and get back to you. ☺️
Your accent chairs is a win win
Thank you!
Thank you so much! Yes! ☺️
Sorry you do not like the sofa....but l I'm pretty sure with a dog in the house....you have dog hair everywhere else too.
Do you still have this sofa ?
Beautiful living room I'm looking for a coffee table set where did you get your coffee set from thanks for sharing
It's from Ashley Furniture that she's had for a few years now.
Ashley as well!
I'm having the same issue with dogs and pilling/cushions moving. We wish we got a different couch 😢
Agreed with all the above! However love it so much it’s worth the upkeep! Also SWEAR by the green machine for it. I spilled a whole cup
Of black coffee on it and had my new puppy pee on it, no issue! Just a little hot water and dawn soap took everything out!!
This is what I'm scared of. I have a pull up leather couch now. All the scratches and spills just add to the patina but it isn't comfortable.
Do the feathers poke through? I have down pillows and I ALWAYS get poked!!!
I haven’t had any do that! Omg so sorry!!! I would def call and ask about that. 🙂
Love the white wingback chairs in the background, who makes them?
Thank you! They’re Tommy Hilfiger from Homegoods 😁
@@AshleyKKollections Thank you!
So the side ottomans move to place in center of couch? Or do they only remain on each side?
You can place them wherever you want! I opted for the ends but you can also put them in the middle. 😁
I love this couch but I cannot stand how quick it starts pilling. Any advice on how to care for this?
A pilling machine worked for me- I’ve linked one under my essentials 🙂
@@AshleyKKollections are we able to wash the covers in washing machine?
Is this couch color called “Linen” on the Ashley website?
It should be yes, as there is only one color available, to my knowledge 😁
what size is the couch?
Thank you so much.. very helpful
Glad it was helpful!
Did you put Velcro? I bought this couch but mine has no Velcro
Only my ottomans came with the Velcro, but great idea for the other cushions!
It’s nice but it makes more sense to get the Costco one because of their insane return/ exchange policy. Ashley’s customer service is terrible.
I’ve heard about the Costco one! Any reviews on it?
Did you get the Costco one? Would love your thoughts if you did
I would never buy this again. No children and 2 small dogs. The pilling is horrific. I have never had staining in a couch. This one shows everything!!!!I have done everything i have been told to do. You are saying to cover it before you use it. I would agree but isn’t the point of buying a couch to be able to use it.
Thank you for your honesty. I appreciate it.
Well then, get rid of your dogs.....problem solved!
@@carolinagirl3110 wow
@carolinagirl3110 I suppose if they had kids you should get rid of them as well? 😒Wow
What is the name of this couch and model please!
Tanavi by Ashley furniture
I bought this couch 6 months ago a d it's horrible. The cushions come out easily, which I have to fix daily. The material is pilling and looks so worn down for only being 6 months. Ashley's furniture has horrible customer service.
They were suppose to replace the cushion covers but I just found out today they discontinued this couch. I wouldn't recommend this couch at all.
it's still available, Fight them harder!
I’m moving in 🥰

but it isn't!
I purchase the same couch and I must say your lying it peels very bad it’s not even 3month had to contact Ashley furniture recently to get someone to come take a look at it
*you’re
Have the same couch and it sheds soooo bad. Even had some feathers coming out after 3 months of barely used. Did Ashley do anything about it?
Same
@@bubbleebia5251 That's too bad....I've had mine for 6 months and it's perfect!
Same here.. was Ashley able to help you? Anything you found that works? I bought the conair pill remover and it doesnt work.
Pay attention there is an class action lawsuit with Ashley's funiture and it not the first I bought several pieces and has had tremendous regret‼
Well she's had hers for a year and she just updated her review without issues....so she's good!
@@carolinagirl3110 you must be a sales person at Ashley! You have snarky remarks for everyone with a negative review. You told me to get rid of my my 2 small dogs!
Beautiful 😍
Thank you!
Thank you 👏👏👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
😘♥️♥️♥️
If you see this, you can get a much better dupe at Costco. If you have a problem with so much as a pillow, they will replace it. 😊 Do NOT but from Ashley!!!!!! I was told by a former manager! I have never had pilling in my life but I do on this. This person pushing her product doesn’t even use hers except for it being covered?
Bought this same sectional. After a year it will start pilling from clothing. Would not buy it again due to this. Beware
How does each individual piece attach to one another?
They aren’t “attached” just weighted on the bottom so they stay close together 🙂
Beautiful

No head support,seems uncomfortable. :(
The pilling on this coach is horribleeeeeeeee
I'm selling this exact same couch, 6 pc sectional, if anyone in California is interested. Definitely not ideal for children or pets but still very beautiful!
How much are you selling it for?
Hood to know. I have 3 kids and 3 dogs and wondered about that
Are you still selling the couch? Where in California are you?
you are redoing the same videos.
Calm down.....she clearly said she's giving an update....so just skip it.
I have this sofa in 6 months, the pilling was crazy. This sofa is so disappointing don't waste your money.
This couch pills soooooooooooo bad and so quickly.
I don’t think she is being honest.
