I just cast on a pair of 'Better together mittens' with yarn from my stash. My goal for the coming half year is to knit as many items from my stash as possible. Trying not to get tempted to buy more yarn, but also very happy and empowering to use my stash yarns first (they are also very beautiful and it makes me much more creative). Love Jessica

I think the hood is going to suit you beautifully! It’s true that all of your hats find their home on someone else’s head. So hopefully the hood will stay with you. I’ve been wanting to make one this winter too… just have too many other things going on… maybe I’ll make it a Christmas cast on…..

Your little fur babies are really adorable.❤ I’m working on my very first sweater, it’s a pattern called the Kristtjorn sweater. I have the body done and i am halfway through knitting both sleeves. I'm knitting/crocheting a bandana cowl for my great grandma, im knitting for the main part and adding crochet lace, I think she'll love it, I'm using 4 strands of mohair/acrylic, I got for my birthday earlier this year, held togerher so it's super soft and airy but the acrylic makes is nice and warm
Legwarmers are such a great idea. I am also knitting a hood...the Sophie Hood by Petit Knits and also knitting the Pelica Vest by Rosa Pomar. I am holding together Double Sunday and a silk mohair and I absolutlely love the fabric it makes. How have I not done this yarn combo before...LOL Love your vlogmas...thanks for sharing

Wow! You got far on your hood already. It's going to look adorable on you. Little update. Despite the weather being very cold last week, I managed to get the lines from the well pump run to the basement! woo hoo!!! The interior plumbing won't be done until sometime in January, but I'm one step closer to having water inside the house. I'm so excited. :D

Washing happens directly in front of the fire with me standing in a big bucket. So looking forward to having an actual tub/shower. Gonna be super cold this weekend. Below -12C with wind chill is forecasted. 🥶
