Rounded neck seems like an interesting idea! 😮✨ Maybe light grey for the background and dark colour like graphite or blue for the flowers could work? 🤔 Good luck with your vest! 😃
@@nicolarielly7679 Thank you ☺️ I feel like the colour choice suggested in the design was perfect, so I didn't change it. Really makes the flowers pop, right?🌺🌼🌸
@@carrieoxendine4429 Hello 👋 Glad you liked it.😊 I'm already finishing another project, so the video should be up within a week. This time it's my own pattern and it's something fluffy. 🐑😄
Hello with witch pattern had you realize your beautiful vest ? Ive got the book with the flowers chart for a cardigan or a vest with buttons, but no v neck. Thanks for your vidéo.
I just made some adjustments to the original pattern on my own. I calculated the cast on (using the Daisy yarn, so smaller gauge than the original) and it was 220 stitches for a vest measuring 100cm in the chest. The next important thing was the number of flowers. So, 220 stitches gave me 11 flowers. This way I could have one flower in the middle, aligned with the v-neck. After completing the part with flowers knitting in the round, I followed the original pattern for decreases and so on. 😊 I hope this was somewhat helpful.😅
The Daisy experience was very good. It's super soft and the vest didn't stretch nor shrink after washing. 👕😃 I'm definitely going to use it in some future projects.👍
The magazine is Sold Out. Do you know where I can purchase the pattern 💗
Of course! 😃 There is a digital version of the magazine on the Laine website. I added a direct link to it in the video description.
Check it out.😊✌️
Thank you for the info👌🙏
Love the modification might have to try it myself Looks so much better than the button through version
Well done on your vest, I love it 👍🏻
This is a lovely and fun video. The vest is beautiful. 😊🧶
That turned out so beautiful! Great job!
Thank you! 🤓
I’m a beginner but determined to make this even if it takes forever
All that hard work looks like it was worth it! And your style of video is a great vibe

I am caking up my skeins of hand-spun to knit up the cardigan version.
The vest looks sooo comfy! The pattern looks amazing 🍀
Loved this 🎉 so aesthetic!
Lovely video! Just bought the Laine magazine with the button version but I like yours more. Greetis from a yellow cat owner, pianist and knitter!
Ah, thank you! 😊🎶🐱🧶🫶 It's not difficult to adjust the pattern to a regular v-neck. Good luck, if you're gonna try it.🤓👍
Thank you for a lovely video - you are a beautiful knitter. I just love your vest and your colour choice is just so gorgeous. xxx

If you are using DK the gauge would be different?
Yes, I just calculated my own gauge. So, I didn't follow the numbers of stitches from the original pattern. 🙂
Thanks for the cozy vlog content! I definitely enjoyed watching your vest progress. :D
what is your impression with using drops daisy so far?
The Daisy experience was very good. It's super soft and the vest didn't stretch nor shrink after washing. 👕😃 I'm definitely going to use it in some future projects.👍
Are you using DK or Aran please
It's Drops Daisy yarn. It says DK on the tag. 🏷️🤓
Checked today 8 December and the pattern is sold out.
@@avrilcrisp5725 Check the Laine Publishing website. There is a pdf digital download available for purchase. That's where I got my copy from.🧶😊
