- Join me Nicola, from Daisy & Grace as I show you how to hand sew the "Half Hexagons" and I show you some inspiration of how to use your half hexagons, as they aren't just for finishing the edge of a hexagon quilt.
There are also some "FREE" pdf downloads for you on my website, so that you can print them and have a go at colouring them to see what sort of quilt you can create.

Hello Nicola. I have machine sewn a hexie quilt using your template and loved it. I have watched this half hexie template video and I have purchased that too with a hope that I can machine sew this too but not finding it very easy, do you plan on showing a tutorial on machine sewing with this template please? I’ll be your best friend. X.

Nicola, I have bought the hexagon and half hexagon templates however I'm finding the half hexagons a bit tricky to sew on the sewing machine. It's on the long edge at the corners that I'm having trouble. Could you show a tutorial on how to do this neatly on the sewing machine? 🙂

I bought your hexagone template at Missouri Star it’s marvellous. But do you deliver to Canada?? I absolutely want the half hexagon for yesterday cuz I am making placemats for gift with your template. I am sewing them by hand and make embroidery on the side of each hexie!
Hi Claudette, I can supply templates that Missouri Star Quilt Co don't do and yes I can ship to Canada, although it's not the quickest, but I do have a tracked and signed for option that I believe is quicker. Happy Sewing XXX Nicola X
When do you think Missouri Star will have this template? Also what advice or possible template would you advise to make the sides of the quilt straight? Thank you for your time.

I made my Hexagons on the sewing machine, so if I did the half hexagons in the sewing would I just hand sew those little corners to stop the tags popping out?
Hi Sally, no you wouldn't need to if you used a zig zag stitch as it would catch the edges, only if any are on the outside edge and then you could just do a few stitches on the sewing machine. XXX

I've borrowed my friend's hexagon templates. I want both, the hexagon as well as the half hexagon templates. I live in Arkansas. Do you sell internationally?
Hi Anita, yes I do sell internationally but I not the 21/2" Hexagon or the 1 3/4" Star in a Hexagon as Missouri Star sell those in America. I hope that helps, Nicola X
