PT92 AFS was one of the best firearms I ever owned. Never had a problem with it and it ran any 9mm I put through it. I did sell it....mede me want a real Beretta. Got a 92A1.......very happy with it also.......great design.
That's a beautiful pistol Mr kotaboy32, I liked it so much that I just ordered one from buds with the sand cerakote slide as a Christmas gift to myself. I also read your review on Amazon about not to over tighten the grip screws in insulation. Just wanted to say thank you sir for your time making reviews it helps out so much.
lots of people talk trash about TAURUS guns... But my first gun (21 years old) was a PT58 plus .380. I council carry that gun for more than 5 years and i went to the range almost every weekend and made several courses true... round after round that gun was reliable AF... al kinds of Crappie ammo and still running great. Point is, this little Taurus have been as good as my Glock 17 today.
Aluminum when wet is slippery. What about scratches, does the silver aluminum show through? Rubber, plastic or wood would show original color. I see problems not worth it. ???
My dad plans on giving me his (only been shot twice) Beretta 92FS when he moves to assisted living soon. I have already been shopping for grips! Hogue makes excellent products. Nice video.
Hi I have this gun in stainless all my fitting are in brass is that unusual? I haven't see on like mine all factory!!! Love the grips!!! Thanks Frankcastano
Hi, I had a question for you--did you have any trouble removing the top screw from the factory black rubber grip? I don't know exactly what the story is with the grip screws Taurus uses, but the top screw especially I can't seem to remove from the grip even after unscrewing the grip from the frame...odd. Also I don't know about you but my factory grip screws seem to have a way of working themselves loose under recoil...not good when that safety spring underneath goes flying out!
Kotaboy32 Tactical Firearms Review Yes sir thank you for your response, it seems I'm not the only one. The Taurus is a great gun in most respects but it seems they really cheap out on the grip screws...I have had several now that have the same issue. Pretty frustrating. I'm told Beretta grip screws will work if you use the Beretta 92 bushings (the same ones in the frame on a Beretta 92 when you remove the grip). I'm going to give that a try because the last thing I want to deal with is that V shaped safety spring getting lost if a grip screw walks itself out too much!!! Thanks again.
Now you need to sport some jew-ray and bling your image up to the next level... yo! Did I just say that? Love Hogue Extreme grips. I had them on a P226 Extreme that I traded for an older German made P220. Talking with Mr Holster, I think that I'm going to send the P220 to Sig and get it retuned/refinished and then swap out the Hogue rubber grips that are on it for some Hogue Extremes.
Just two questions..do the aluminum grips get slippery when your hands get sweaty? And I'm remembering one video you did when you first got this cool gun: did you fix the problem with your slide not staying open after you finished firing a magazine? P.S. good video, as usual.
I don't think those grips look good at all. Nice rubber grips vs piece of gunk plastic. Naaa. That's what you call a shelf gun I'm sure if he uses it a lot his hands will be really sore. And he paid 70.00 for plastic that was made in China for about 5.00. Another SUCKER.
Hogue never gets the exposure they deserve, absolutely love their overmolded grips, butt stocks and slings. Cracking weapon.
Subscriber from Brazil here, that gun represents brazil more than soccer. Hahaha
Sharp pistol, and looks even better with those grips.
Love this gun!! I own the 1991 Pt92 with no accessories rail or decocker.. Can you do a video on doing a trigger job??
just got a pt92 im going to do a review on it in the near future i might need to get these grips for it
Love your channel man.

Interesting grips will have to check them out in my search for the 220 grips.
Those grips look great but I think u need stainless screws and a bushing kit from taurus.

The Tauruses based on the Beretta 92 are actually very good quality, and they're built on old Beretta tooling.
what a beauty! very nice set up
Nice grips as I need to get some of those to get the feel in hand...
i like that serious bling you got going there lol, looks awesome
AF does not stand for Aluminium Frame. PT 92s have always had aluminium frames. A stands for Ambidextrous controls. F stands for firing pin safety.
source? what I saw A was for alloy or aluminum and F is for Frame mounted safety since the original design was slide mounted.
Mine stands for aw fuvk, im about to shoot somone again.
have that pistol with wood Hogue grips
Actually, A=Alloy F = Frame Mounted Safety
A- ambidextrous F-firing pin safety
Would you happen to still have a part number for those grips?

Looks good brother! Carry On!
Nice! I got the checkered French walnut grips on mine.
My dad plans on giving me his (only been shot twice) Beretta 92FS when he moves to assisted living soon. I have already been shopping for grips! Hogue makes excellent products. Nice video.
The brown grips look good on the stainless pistol. Nice Thanks
i got a pt 92 but it's. an AF and not the SS. EVEN THOUGH I love it, still. would be nice to have the stainlees steel version.

Wait, is this a Yankee Marshal video? LOL!!!!
Maybe it is. You're OCD enough to make sure the grip screws are all aligned. :)
I think you need stainless screws. Nice peice.

where can I get the grips?
Beautiful grips
By using the wrong screwdriver you screwed up your screwdriver slots
And you should replace the screws with the bushings
What a difference.
how can i find those grips, i have that same pistol .
Why do they look gold?
Looking good!
Will this fit on pt917cs?
Bronzish... Very nice, kinda like durable wood,.. and they really break up the overbearing silver/black theme,...
want Hogue Extreme Aluminum Grips for Taurus PT915
Gun you are beautiful
Nice Breitling
Now you need to sport some jew-ray and bling your image up to the next level... yo!
Did I just say that?

It his gun worry about yours
if someone wants to put ketchup on a steak thats their right but its also my right to call them out on it
I think they come in a number of different finishes?? I installed Hogue grips on my PT-99 AF.
I like this color better on polished steel. Looks kind of retro
I like your grips a lot, but my Taurus PT101 cost me $300. I just can't justify $70 aluminum grips for it.
