It is apparent that Israel cares more about eradication and famine isn't a consideration but an expected eventuality. The only way that the United States will have any influence in this matter is to completely end any and all financial aid to Israel until all hostilities have ended.
Any other country would be subject to crippling international sanctions.
Israel was right to defend and go on the offensive, given the barbaric acts of Hamas, but now this seems like an excuse for mass genocide.
