Is Uber XL and Select worth it?

- After two years of rideshare driving I moved up to driving in the premium modes. I’m now driving comfort, xl, Select and lux. There is a demand because people don’t want a small car and don’t want to risk getting in a car that shouldn’t be on the road. It’s worth upgrading the a vehicle that’s on more platforms to increase the chance to make more money.

Good video bro👏👏👏
Nice video bro! Thanks for the shout out
The RideShare Hacker I think I watched all of yours on XL and Select driving videos. I think you have the best content on it because no one else is tackling the subject like you. Gio has good info but is all over the place on cussing and drama .
When I basically quit driving Uber/Lyft; Dec. 31, 2015, the basic X rate was $1.40/ mile. Overnight it went to $.77/mile on Jan. 1, 2016....the math simply doesn't work. Not if you're looking at total costs.
Oh yeah the economy modes your are hustling to make money
In 2022, it's $0.57 / mile now in Austin
I have been riding in Austin Market, rides a Uber X car, time to upgrade, Do you think Lincoln Navigator is a good car and will it qualify for Uber Black ?
Do you think its common for single riders to select XL only because XL is closer to them or the only uber available?
It’s a useful video, but the music is annoying and makes it hard to hear what he’s saying
I thought I saw somewhere on the uber app that they werent accepting any more select cars for ohio
That is true I saw that on their website also.
I think it really means if you are a new driver with zero rides and sign up now you will not be able to do Select.
I had a lot of rides under my belt and was on Select immediately when I signed up with my new car
What would you recommend ad a budget "van" I'm think this would be great market for hyrecar.
A Van is great for rideshare to make almost double the rate of Uber X .
I think a van would be better suited for Turo because people have more money to spend leisurely to rent the car vs people who are relying on a van that cost them more per day to operate.
I have not seen more than 1-2 vans on hyre car but you know the game way better than me on there
@@johnmarkreed when you say can. What do you mean. Like a full f350 van. Or like a mini van. Ford flex type deal?
Justin Brubaker minivans
@@JustinBrubaker Minivans and SUVs are my Turo money makers. Even if I don’t rent them the entire month as my economy sedans, I can charge super higher daily rates.
Love families and group of friends that travel together and like these vehicles. I’d recommend stick with Toyotas and Hondas. No disappointments. Highlander, 4Runner, Sienna, Pilot and Odyssey and super reliable!
Uber comfort will replace uber select, they don’t accept select anymore for Chicago market, and Ohio as well.
Thats what I read when I purchased a Select vehicle. I believe that they wont accept a new driver then put them on Select. I had been driving for almost 2 years when i got a XL/Comofrt/Select vehicle and I was good to go day one
