I just found you guy’s channel and now I’m addicted lol and I hate rats but I can’t stop watching
Omg me tooo!!
Had a few holes that rats had got into my attic.Slim jims and peanut butter set the Victor rat traps and for 3 days I got those pest in the traps. The past few days they have not set off anymore traps. All the hole are filled so the res no way out?I don't care to use poisons because it affects other wildlife. So the Victor traps work the best in my opinion.
Those shots on the roof were making us dizzy. Better you than me!
As always highly interesting and entertaining well done keep it up!!
So…. I thought the rats where stuck up in the attic when they sealed everything? I’m guessing it escaped through that last crack by the roof they sealed up. Nice vid
Over kill to get money from the customer! Do your exclusion from the outside. Put some bait out and be done with it. What did you collect $$ from the home owner?
So you don’t think exclusion should be done in the inside too?
Do it once do it right.
You guys try getting rid of rats and make a channel on it
@@culturemotived2190 Read the room bud. Me and the other guy were criticizing the first post.
K, so I hired a company three years back and all they did was set traps. Nothing at the level you did. Wtf is that about? Literally 8 traps and weekly check ups. Didn’t go into the attic and didn’t go under the crawl space. Waste of money. So how do I find an actual exterminator that does all this?
I had an issue with mice in my old home. Turned out plumbers left a pipe totally open after a remodel and they were getting in from the kitchen. Any time now I have work done I always insist on getting progress photos and all pipes are sealed before the jobs considered done
i just scored 3 baby rats Two from the traditional victor traps And 1 from the M144 plastic rat trap.
SCORE!!!!!
i found my mice entry point!!! climbing up side of house underneith aluminum siding.. siding was loose on bottom not clipped onto house,,,they chewed up the insulation!!!...
Seems like it's hard to find guys like you that actually do all of this ! Most people just want to come over and spray and prey
That’s bc they’re poorly trained and don’t know what they’re doing most companies just tell them what to do and give absolutely zero training in pest control
I wish you guys were in my area. I have hired 3 companies in the last 8 years to get rid of my rats and none have succeeded. 😭
Hello what state do you live in . An have you solved this issue. God bless mike 😂
@@mikeseidner3085 I live in Texas. Shortly after I posted this I hired a company called Truly Nolen and they were finally able to eradicate the rats! I'm so excited every time I sit in my house and hear the beautiful sound of silence. 😍
What does the smoke do?
I don't get it. Even if they get in the vent, it only leads out of the house to the sewer. So why are they smoke testing a plumbing stack?!
Always walk the valley or ridge when it's that steep.
You guys are professional. I hear scratches in my walls. I wish you were in McAllen, Texas.
Quick question. That screen that you guys put in the attic to seal the entry point, do you leave it as shown? Or do you guys cut the screen mesh to fit better around the pipe
Guys, you are always so thorough with your work. But I'm surprised that you didn't mention to the Customer that those solar panels were "filthy" and needed a clean. Plus, their electricity bill would benefit (you probably did 😉 but didn't show it in the video clip) But all jokes aside, I'm surprised that you don't have a solar power employee - you appear to have everything else covered. Well done again finding the solution. You guys are so caring and a credit to the industry. (You would make a MINT of money here in Australia)!! Stay safe. 👍👍
You should use a harness when you’re on a steep roof like that
Man I wish you guys were in Philly.
Wish they were in my state too..got garbage exterminators here
I'm leasing a house in Florida, and the rental agency told me I had to pay for rat removal in the attic. Does that sound right?
I wouid try to prove that they were pre existing get a few inspections and look for evidence that they have been in the attic before you move in.
I live in a home where there is no access to an attic. How the heck can I get this rat or rats out of here! They won’t take bait, they won’t take trap, they won’t go near camera’s that turn on with movement. This rodent is destroying my home and it seems like the only thing I can do is just listen.
Cut drywall and make access ?
Same
What's the update? Problems still?
Luckily a lot of reptiles moved in near my home and it seems like it solved that problem. I got super lucky.
I have rats in my attic, it’s a nightmare i have killed 4 so far with traps but there seems to be more up there it’s a nightmare
Good job guys I have rats in my backyard me and my neighbors poison traps dering the summer spray there holes with bleach drives them crazy but want leave now using coyote urine the next day or two there holes are gone but I find they just move to a new hole dont hear any noise in the walls I have
64r inserlation in my attic fiberglass it's about chest high it could be why I don't hear any noise up there..
Excellent. It’s a shame we didn’t see any rats picked up on the night / trial camera.
Attic rats are hard to catch no matter what traps are used.
I am glad that you got rid of those yucky. Keeping being sure footed.
When he was crowling beneath the flooring and saw that rat nest- I mean isnt that your worst nightmare?!!!!
Fast and furious
The worst thing about having Rats in your attic is having Warren DeMartini crash through your ceiling
I am in the process of purchasing a property, did a roof/loft inspection and found lots of rat droppings in the loft space, not sure about urine? But sure there must be if there is evidence of rat droppings. Now I am aware rat droppings and urine are a health hazard so I assume the installation would have to be replaced and the whole loft space sanitised.
I have rats in the attic for about 4-5 months now. I have had a professional rat control come out 3 times and kept changing the bait but the rats are not eating his bait. What else can I do?
That Thumbnail is creepy lol. I would have panic on that roof too.
Bro that pipe you just sniffed likely has asbestos. Good luck!
How do you guys get away without using harnesses? That’s a huge liability.
How much does this service in this video cost?
I need you guys. I have a terrible problem in Florida and I’m going crazy
Problem solved?
Gotta say, Rats are kinda fascinating and Smart, like squirrels. They also (I’m guessing) can squeeze thru holes smaller than their body size; like other animals. But man, they really can also cause a lot of issues as well.
Glad found the entry point; always good feeling.
Cheers✌🏻
How do I get your services we rent a home and we hear rats running in the addic the bathroom walls they sound really big we need some help
I don't know if it's allowed in your state but a backwater valve on the sewer would prevent anything outside from coming into the home
Keep sofa foam in your car for steep roofs. Also try to stay in the valley. Or crap walking helps
Invest in knee pads with grip tape on the pad, bad for flooring, awesome for roof climbing.
Glad I'm not the only one who's got rats issues.
How the f do those buggers get into the sewer vent?!
Look up Frederick Dunn's YT video. OMG. If you've never heard a Norway rat scream slowed down...here is your chance. It's an upclose and personal view of these rats.
Dramatic much?
Much dramatic?
It would be nice if you could travel the states to offer exclusion seminars for pest problems throughout the country. These pest pros in the south could gain some expertise from your skills!
You Twins are great, with all the work, staff and many days trying to solve the customers problem, would you mind telling me what was the final total cost, t
hanks Phil
What happens after you guys tear out drywall? All the vids I have seen, it looks like the job is done and the drywall is left. Does the H.O. then call a con and pay out of pocket?
Seriously?
You smell the plumbing vent and it doesn’t smell like rats? 😂
You folks are amazing. I love your work. Very thorough, conscientious to resolve the problem. You're a blessing to your community. God[Bible] Bless.
So this is like my 7th or 8th video but I haven't seen many where there are actual mice/rats being removed lol
You guys are amazing
No trees hanging over home!!! Rat holes in yard? Use carbon monoxide
Great tip on video Timeline 12:13 to 12:52. fill chimney gaps and cut trees away from roof.
Great stuff.
Did the homeowners not want you to remove the insulation and sanitize the attic?
How far do you travel for this helping people. Great information.
Where are you guys located? I need your help !!!how do I get you guys out here
Where can i find that black foam spray
are there any safety precautions to getting on a roof that steep? ropes? harness?
Do you guys sever SF bay area? I'm interested in getting a quote, what's the best phone number or e-mail address?

I need your help I live in Mount Vernon Ohio how many miles come in please I need your help bye love you again
And I have an attic see what's up there thank you Jim see you next time
did the traps in the attic produce
Did you catch any in the attic?
What is the smoke content?
Down with the rags
You guys always talk about the need to remove all insulation in order to find any breaches yet you don’t do that in this video. Why?
Yes, when you CANNOT locate any beaches on the outside, then you must remove insulation to pin point breaches. You also have to take in consideration that some homeowners can’t afford to. Thanks for this GREAT QUESTION!
@@TwinHomeExperts thanks! Keep up the good work.
I love twin-time. Awesome job guys.🙏
Awesome
You rate cat sounds would keep them way?
Maybe temporary, rats are smart enough to know after a while “ no harm”:
Twin's to the rescue great job !
Thanks John! 💪👊
the attic in the apartment building that I live in is full of rats. They're getting in from the tree that's growing outside into the attic.
The landlord isn't doing anything about it, I've told them about it in August. It's now November....
Do THIS:
Look up your local health department inspector and get email, what’s the last name and mailing address… This is all public record and if you can’t find it call them and get it but it should be easily accessible for all people ...
File a suit against the landlord in all claims court. Use your rent money to do so if you need to! The clerk of court should have the forms and if you don’t have the money to pay the filing fees for small claims court you can fill out what is called an “indigency financial application packet” to waive the filing fees which are approximately $200-$250 for small claims court I think...You can even withhold rent because of this but you will need to include that written in this Motion. I would also ask for it to be an “Expedited Motion” because the landlord is breaking the law because this is a health issue and these types of rodents carry deadly diseases. make sure it has the. Certificate of Service” included or attached with his full name and mailing address and you’re responsible for mailing him a copy. You will need to it “Certified Mail” and pay for the Return Receipt.”
If you don’t want to take him to Court just yet you can send a letter stating That you will be withholding rent until the problem has been completely remediated! Make sure to include Cc: with the Health Department And or the Inspectors name and ensure you mail a Certified copy to them as well.
Keep receipts of everything ranging from gas to and from past office (mileage I mean plus gas receipts ) and Amy receipts you have for anyone expenses of bait (peanut butter) to the $35-50 electronic traps or whatever it is you purchase to remediate the issue on your own as he will be forced to deduct
From your rent or reimburse you (small claims court or the Judge will enforce this) be sure to read up on your County or City’s “Lanlord Tenant Laws!”
I hope this helps!! 🧐🙏🎃🍂🍁☺️🤑
Either Apple is hacking me again or UA-cam has gone completely crazy as they posted this comment about 30 times!!! 🧐🤨😬🤣🤬🤯
I wish you all were in Philly too!
Loretta, we truly appreciate you supporting our channel. If you need assistance, we do have a FaceTime consultation service. Cheers!
Good job you guys do soooo much!.that's what shows that it's not just job or a paycheck! It shows that you care! And also not LAZY!!!
I do pest control sales in NYC and you guys are so helpful. Keep up the content thanks!
Shakiv! Thanks so much for this awesome feedback. 🙏🙏
We have mice in our attic and they told us it would be about $9000 to get it taken care of. 🥲 needless to say, they are living here rent free for a while.
That's the perfect way of doing it, remove all insulation, decontaimante attic space, then seal all entry points. However opinions vary in whether it's worth the cost instead of just setting bait stations and praying
damn. i wish they made special safety equipment for going on roofs. I am so scared of heights I couldn't even sit on the bleachers at this car race thing they had down South and I kept telling my boys to be careful while they laughed at me. My mother instinct kicks in when I see people on roofs and I just want to tell people to get down from there. I even did some roofing when I was a teenager with my Uncle and turned my homing pigeons loose from the roofs so they'd be waiting when I got back. Y'all please find some way to use bungees or something.
