I have an outside rat problem. Rats are living under my neighbours shed (they're not doing anything about it). They are feasting on bird feed (their bird feeder). Now they're creeping under our shed. I've been watching all your videos, to kill the bastards haha!

I felt your pain having to rebuild that sewer plumbing. As a pool guy I've had many repairs turn from easy 15 minute jobs to cussing and rebuilding something that cracks down the line.

My field has nothing to do with extermination, but the place I'm staying now for work has constant thumping in the ceiling... which led me down the rabbit(rat) hole that landed me here. Seriously I wish more companies worked like this. Where I live they’ll charge you thousands to come and place a few traps and bait stations and maybe cover a hole or two. Only if obviously in the open. They won’t move furniture or anything or get into crawl spaces.
What state do you live in that exterminators refused to do the work of rat control? I’m in Florida and in the cold seasons every house gets them. So there are many companies who do this

I remember our family back in the 70's allowing our cats to enter the attic, making sure they had an easy and quick exit, and after a few minutes they would come out with a rat in their mouth then ran out the front door.
The twins are so professional, I try to share their videos with property management companies to show the professional way of dealing with rodents.

The problem is I don't have a company like this anywhere near me. Only people come out and put traps and bait, which is not the issue.

I'm in a 1970s type apt building converted to condo top floor. We have little insulation. Last night I heard scurrying like my cat rip used to make coming from my ceiling. Early this morning again. It's like it's one long scurry and stillness. There's no ice and no snow. I'm kinda embarrassed to tell the super they will think I'm crazy. It's always in one spot over my bedroom. Yes, I found one area in my old place in Killeen, TX. I nagged and nagged at my pest control company. Once they closed that specificentry point, I no longer had rats. My dog was a HUGE help. She kept the rats behind the stove. Everytime they came out, she would chase them behind the stove. They were HUNGRY and the biggest one got trapped with peanut butter bait.

Will rodents live inside and eat outside? Doing some home remodel work, I found a load of rat droppings & fresh urine in a shower stall wall that is the outer wall. The stall has been inoperable for awhile. I am not finding any food sources inside.

I have a problem with squirrels. Neighbors feed them and then they make homes in my soffit and attic. I'd shoot them but live next to a school.
I wish they could come to north Texas and help me get rid of rats and squirrels that are chewing up my wiring in the attic and making a mess up there. Not to mention all the hole they have opened up around the soffit area.
What kind if vacuum do you use to clean up this insulation? What do you do for maintainence on that vacuum? Looking at cleaning out my attic and repairing my hvac after finding rats around my property and eventually hearing them in the ceiling

My landlord told me that to take care of that problem is my responsibility. I don’t understand that. Whether or not it’s in my contract, this is a big job and a renter should not have the responsibility of removing rodents from the attic. Any professionals have advice for me?

Thx for solving this and actually fixing this ladys problem. My next door neighbor's are harboring against the fence line construction materials from a shed that the county ordered them to take down because they placed it in the setback. My three Terrier dogs keep them and rush them back underneath the fence every night when they try to come under. So far I'm not growing any crops there that rats will eat so I've been safe but I don't want Rats on my property nor having contact with my dogs and certainly not in the attics are anywhere near my house
Just make sure you keep all food source off your property, like do food etc. make sure you seal up all roof and exterior openings that lead to your homes interior space.
@@TwinHomeExperts thank you! I have a garden here but grow nightshades which contain soloxine so animals don't usually eat tomatoes, eggplants, or peppers. My pineapples were never a problem until these people moved here with their habits. Had them for 2 decades. I will survey the perimeter. A Mexican roofer I hired put strong cages around all my pipes on the roof years ago. He did excellent repair and work! I need to check my off ridge vents. My 19 year old cat is formidable in keeping the squirrels off my roof but I don't want him tangling with rats. So far we have had 2 writhing here. Someone is using rat poison without the housing to trap the rat in it seems.

Have a rat in my attic, so frekn smart. It made an intricate design in a tea light candle then displayed it so i can see it.... then when i heard him, i banged on the drywall 3 times, HE DID IT BACK TO ME. THUMP THUMP THUMP. 👀flipped rat traps then ate the bait 2-3×...today im going on the roof to see where hes coming in. Thanks twins for all the knowledge.
