Interesting video, I have some panniers on my bicycle and they make life so much easier rather than having a back pack. If I ever get a motorbike, I think panniers would be a must.
I did have an option to get the suzuki ones but wasn't keen on the look of them, and think they were quite small. Really pleased with these and already planning the next adventure :D
@@TommyBarnezTV Got a ride on both ! Found that I preferred riding the 650 although I wish they'd put usd forks on ! I like my Versys but it's time to change , the trekker panniers will just swap over with new mounts !
Great bike choice bud. I've a yellow 650XT myself. Although I went with the GIVI Trekker 33 ltr panniers and Matching 52ltr top box. Rode the bike from Belfast to Faro, Portugal last July and couldn't have asked for a better bike. Keep up the cool Vids.
Nice! Sounds like a great trip. I've been thinking about riding down to Spain however might get a ferry instead as I've heard France is a bit boring. Big trip this year is looking to be Scotland I think. Have started putting a bit of a plan together. Haven't really seen much of Scotland before so pretty excited. Wont be as warm as Spain/Portugal though
@@TommyBarnezTV parts of France are beautiful ya just gotta stay off the big toll roads. Scotland is awesome I was over there 2017. I'm going to the IOM this July to explore as I've never been there. Vstroms conquering the world one road at a time.........lol
@@TommyBarnezTV the green Welly stop was a biker Mecca for a fill up and lunch. It's just north of loch Lomond. And the marine memorial at Glencoe is not to be missed, and the bealach na na viewpoint on the applecross pass is awesome riding.
Had a look at ABR festival btw and the dates look good so planning on going. Only thing I wasn't keen on is that no option to take a hammock. Gregg from the bike school is up for it too.
Hi nice looking panniers they set the bike off nice. I use inner bags in my panniers which I bought from argos, yes that's right argos. Cool bags about eight pounds each, with carry handles. work a treat oh they zip close. cheers. ...
Yeah you will need the specific bracket for the v Strom too. I'm pretty sure the part number was something like plx3112 - worth checking though when you buy

Comment about the bird was an actual bird that came out the bushes to my left, not the lady driver 😂

If? Chris we know you're going to be getting a bike. You have a full licence and live in a part of the country that would be nice to ride.
Sweet man you don't realise how practical paniers are untill you have them. They came as standard on my triumph !

Looks good ! Just selling my V35's for Givi trekkers which look good on the Strom which I'll be swapping my Versys for thanks to your recommend!
Ah nice! Did you get a test ride? How did you find compared to the versys?

Awesome, will definitely aim to include them in my route. Cheers!
Thanks for the review - these look great, and the extra width can only be a good thing

They look good. Maybe the liners for birthday?
Panniers were for my birthday 😂
Great vid. Are they 110% waterproof?
Unfortunately only 100%, I searched long and hard for the 110% ones but apparently they are impossible to make
What camera did you use to shoot this with?. The quality is excellent, pristine and sharp.
Hey thanks, go pro hero 6, 4k 30fps with some minor adjustment to levels when editing

Hi there, can you tell me what part no. for the racks? I have a 2018 vstrom650 and the same panniers that I would like to mount. Thank you!
PLX3112 I think
do you have to buy brackets specifically for these or can it use the ones that come with the bike

I do not know if you should not exchange the cases L for R so your girlfriend can better hopp in.
