This song rekindled something in me after hearing a medley of music within FFXIV, done by over 200 artists; Footfalls was one of the last songs they played, and I just....always imagine all the damage, pain, and loss we face...and just continuing to walk on as it just bounces off us: we've lost so much, endured so much, but even now we're not alone...and we'll always push ahead.. It's not even because we're the Warriors of Light...it's because that's just who we are. Thank you such an amazing cover and helping us remember that we didn't just come from nothing, we pushed THROUGH it too and now we stand proud with so many other friends: in the Scions, in those we met on our journey, the creators of this game, and in those we meet as we play together~
Amazing cover. The last part with everyone singing together was magical and reminds me of my journey alongside so many wonderful people in FFXIV. Thank you!
I've been listening to this for a month or two now, and that chorus at the end never ever fails to send chills across my body. It's easily the best cover of this song.
I still can't get tired of hearing all the covers and nods to FF14, Soken, and players who were able to stay on or join the journey to Endwalker. Great cover, your video used got some happy tears especially near the end.

As one of the vocals, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Actually most of us already played Endwalker in JP/NA servers and yes, it was an incredibly enjoyable journey. I especially love how this theme song linked all our steps from ARR to Shadowbringers and eventually lead to a huge choir with everyone we met supporting us in the background singing “you are not alone”, just as in the main story towards the end of Endwalker... I'm sure that other Chinese WoLs will share the same feelings as we did! Thanks for your warm wishes and may you walk free in the light of crystal in our hearts ;)

I find this gem many months later and I always love a rendition of Footfalls as it's a history for those who played and a paralogue for many beyond.
