This was a great video. Thanks for the detailed steps and explaining your hydration techniques. I will definitely work this into my rides moving forward.
Thank you so much for this video. Started riding again and signed up for my first gravel race (organized bike ride is what I call it) this April and another in May, last race was @10 yrs ago XC. Perfect and clear cut explanation in my book. Had some anxiety on what I was going to do about my nutrition. Not anymore.
Hey, thanks! I used this plan today and my weekly 100k was much easier! Energy throughout! Never felt drained. I have not been taking in nearly enough carbs.
You wouldn’t want to mix the two hydration mixes as they are very different formulas and are portioned for use with specific volumes of water. (Maurten in particular needs to mixed precisely as its instructions direct.) Mixing would also run the risk of making a nasty-tasting concoction, and it’s much easier to drink regularly for five hours when you actually like the flavor of what’s in your bottle! There are some mixes that balance high carbs and hydration - Tailwind Nutrition is a good example - if you’re hoping to simplify the number of products you’re picking up. -Tanner
@@JitinMisra Then, you need to take a hard look at your regular diet. If you KNOW you're going to work out and take no nutrition/fuel before, then that's on you. Why would you attempt to burn 500-1000 calories, if you only have 200 calories intake? It's like trying to drive 100 miles on a quarter tank of gas. It doesn't make any sense, right? Do some research. Good luck to you!
Is it a bad idea to exceed the amount of calories your body can absorb during a strenuous event? Does this increase the possibility of GI issues? Great video, thanks for creating it.
Toutes les produits que tu nous présente sont beaucoup trop dispendieux, jamais je vais les utilisés. Il y a tellement d'autre choix possible qui coute pratiquement rien et qui fonctionne parfaitement.
The lexus ad was really unexpected lol guess premium wasn't worth it when creaters just put ads in the video lol

Very helpful. Thank you!
Can you mix the 1st 2 together?

Can GU be mixed with water and used from a aero water bottle ?
How do you rate the SIS gels?
Also, what would you drink during a Peloton 45 min ride? just water?
Yep. Just water. For most people, anything under an hour of intense exercise only needs water to stay hydrated.
@@chefrob1020 but what if you get hungry and feel low in energy../ bonking feeling ?

I like the soft breakfast bars before and during a ride. Occasionally I’ll pack two ham sandwiches
Pee break?
