There is a common dog training misconception that using e-collars (electric collars or shock collars) is only for aggressive dogs, big dogs, or mean dogs.
This isn't the case.
Electric collar training is all about communication, teaching, and it's a great way to achieve off leash obedience in a way that is low key and easy for the dog.
With e-collar training, though, we can use a low level and teach the small dog how to get that great level of off leash obedience.
