Thank you again and again for all of these gems, each and every one of them. I cannot thank you enough!!!!
And Leona Mitchell as an angel voice !!!wow !!!
Gwyneth sings exquisitely in this performance. What a beautiful voice she had in her earlier career! Remedies has some superb moments
Josephine Veasey is simply spectacular!
This is Veasey's best performance ever!
(at least for me)
@@edwardamosbrandwein3583 I agree but Langdon stole the show.
@@BaroneVitellioScarpia1 Langdon's a most underrated singer (he was excellent as Baron Ochs von Lerchenau from "Der Rosenkavalier" and Graf Theodor Waldner from "Arabella" amongst other roles)
@@edwardamosbrandwein3583 Don’t forget his Egyptian King in Aida with Callas and Barbirolli.
@@BaroneVitellioScarpia1 Thx for reminding me of that!
It was 1953 and as early as then was it possible to witness and admire Langdon's peerless artistry!
PS: Sir John Barbirolli conducted and Joan Sutherland sang the off-stage role of the Priestess, right?
Thank you for posting this!
