I was walking with my daughter in a rear-facing stroller today. We watched the sunset together. I queued up this song and she told me she was really sleepy. As the sun continued to set, I continued to walk and I watched my daughter fall asleep in the stroller while listening to this song. She had an angel face while she slept.. It was one of the most peaceful moments I've felt in at least a year. I wanted to memorize that moment forever.

My boyfriend wanted to show me something he made on his computer. It was a slide show of us and our vacations visiting Vegas, the Grand Canyon and other fun adventures. This song was playing and it was beautiful. He died 6 months later. So this song holds a special place in my heart ❤️
I'm so sorry for your loss - I randomly decided to listen to this track tonight, and saw your comment - very touching and tragic, I have some tears just reading.
I am very sorry for your Tremendous Loss. There is a sense of timelessness to this song. Like The Beautiful Moments You Shared With Your Boyfriend Playing over and over SOMEWHERE on a Beautiful INFINITE LOOP.
Just remember the older we get life stops giving it starts taking away, I'm 48 and buried a lot of my love ones that I miss so much including my father that passed away in November of 2023 which he was my mentor and then some. GOD Bless!!!!! I missed him so much, I've buried so many people in my life that is gone and resting, Be strong, teach and guild your kids and young ones, Life is short to wait on things you want to do or stop to pick up the phone to tell them I love you. Today in this time the best thing that God has giving me is my family. The best thing that I've done is to help create life with my beautiful wife that gave birth to our son 20 years ago. At this moment he and my wife are the only ones that stands by my side. Every time when I get home from a long day at work they are always there with a smile on their face. God bless them!
Met a woman at a U2 concert in Montreal back in 1999, on memorial day.W e connected at the concert had a wild night on the town after the concert and for afters ?? well one of those mystical things that rarely happens in ones lifetime...I thought she was gone forever and I'd always have that one night with her. Several weeks later she called me and I drove up to Montreal, the F1 weekend and we started a 7 year long distance relationship from Connecticut to Montreal, back and forth,,,,THIS one singular album from MOBY and this one tune sums up just how magical that first night was and those 7 years that followed,,So to you MOBY,,,,,,THANK YOU for this....

At this moment I am lying on my hammock, watching the grey and blue sky, the birds flying, and the mountains while I listen to this wonderful music. I feel like a connection with the universe.
Cancer took my mom away from me it has been 3weeks since she passed. I listened to this when I found out she died and all through when she was sick. I am just heartbroken and miss her more everyday😖
My 1 year old bengal cat got hit by a car this morning, as his heart stopped beating he died in my girlfriends arms. It was chaos and blood everywhere. Hardest day of my live so far... after we took him to the pet crematorium to give his body the last journey. THIS Song was played in the radio an we just stopped crying for a moment and instantly enjoyed what we were listening. Pictures passed by in our minds, what a beatiful time we had together.♥

Earlier today, on the way to my university by bus, we stopped at a red traffic light and I overheard a nearby car jamming some really cool psychedelic-sounding music. I randomly turned around and asked the guy in the car "what are you listening to?". He quickly proceeded to grab a piece of paper and scribble something on it. As soon as he was done writing, the traffic light turned green and the bus I was in took off. This song always makes me think of my dearly departed friend Sondra Seba. She succumbed to a brutal, cruel cancer a few years ago. I heard this song come on and there was something so lilting, so forelorn... so yearning... this song just perfectly captured her 'Memory Gospel' indeed. She was the kindest, sweetest soul. When I first moved to DC to work for the Clintons, I was young and in way over my head. Nervous as all get-out. I walked in and she was there manning the front desks. She put me right at ease with her kind smile and her southern charm. Turns out, she was a lifelong close friend of Bill Clinton, since they were kids. Both their Moms were BFFs, super close. And Sondra was so classy and modest she never bragged about it or used it to get ahead. It wasn't until we were at a reception and Bill Clinton was speaking and after, he spotted Sondra and bear-hugged her and squeezed her so hard and didn't wanna let go. They put their heads on each other's shoulders and just beamed, anchoring each other. It was one of the absolutely sweetest moments. I had no idea they were such close pals. Goddess Bless, Sondra. We miss you. The world misses your light and your kind soul.

Everything is everything and Life is Life. This music makes me lose myself and melt into the all. This music makes me feel at peace but in a state of wonder and bliss.
I had to put my dog of 14 years to sleep at the vets office in 2015... my sister and mom were there and we were all crying uncontrollably ... we all left separately... I got in my truck, turned on Pandora, and THIS song played.... I had never heard it before and it completely saved me! I just sat in the parking lot for the first half, pulled out onto the road during the second half and moved on with the help of “Memory Gospel”!!!!!! Thank you Moby🤘🏽
+DAYWONER tl;dr: yep, because the math of the music is easier for your brain to listen to, process, and remember. It is called parsimony. The science of music theory tells us that this sort of harmonic balance does wonders for the easement and stresses of large scale data sets of information, in that they are more readily organized in the brain via the frequency modulations being easier to transform;i.e. pattern mapping in situ. This is due to the wavelengths of the music being easier to discern by the brain, and yet more likely to be a very close approximation to the golden mean in subdivision and chordal structure. Pythagoras is credited for discovering this unique mathematical relationship between number theory and musical consonance.
Gracias Moby.
When my ex partner was pregnant I introduced Moby to her and this song, for relaxation,I am positive my son could hear this song,he is 20 this year and has a bit of a trait ,a gentle hippie like his father.Peace.
The great Moby, what a track, don t need anything else, just a feeling, this nice and warmth feeling,as music should be, unfortunately nowadays there s less artists with such talent,it s getting worse and worse,we have to honour them while the good ones are still around!memory gospel
this, is what i listen to when i want to think beyond everything... my worst fear is losing my mom but this song truly helps me cheer up, the world is insane and i couldnt see myself here with my mother.. i love you so much mom! even tho you wont be seeing this it makes me feel good to put this here think postive thoughts everyone and remember we never die we just transfer our souls somewhere else once we are done with what we got here... i love everyone and everyone should love me. we are all the same all living things in the world trying to figure out what we are here for. whoever reads this remember you are always wanted and loved if you dont feel that come talk to me and ill show you how it feels to be loved and cared for girl or boy i do not care about gender race height looks blah blah i care about your soul and how you use it how you put yourself out to the world how you treat others is what i look for... personalility is the most important of all things :D :D love ava marie board
La música de Moby tiene esa sensibilidad de transportarlo a uno a cualquier parte donde se desee tener paz interior. Sencillamente este señor es un excelente artista
Wife cheated... confronted them on 4/18/2020. Listening to this song.... calms my mind, helps me control my anger, and emotions. Now I am a single father of two 💪
One of my most favorite albums of all time; every song is as amazing as the next. Hearing this masterpiece today, I'm taken back 20+ years to the good ole days in college. LOVE Moby.
I had Moby's tunes playing as we slowly rode our motorcycle thru Sequoia / King NP at 30mph. Again, I had my ear buds on as I cruised on my bike thru some of the greatest Redwoods quiet Ave. I also listen to "Play" while I get my breath flowing and stretch for yoga. Truely spiritual feeling as we enjoyed the awe inspiring views mother nature gave us. I recomend Moby's "Play" music for cruising and yoga.
Listen to this Song while i sit on a Bank in Zürich. Looking to the People. Some angry, some happy, some stressfull... When I listen to this Song i forget my mental Problems. I feel happy. I feel safe. Thanks Moby.
I was lucky enough to have a window seat flying over the Great Barrier Reef when this song was playing, I was watching ships following the reef on emerald green waters, tiny tropical islands & coral cays drift by my window. It was a special Moby moment👌
I've been listening to this song and others from Moby, and for sure this is the only music that makes me feel hope in this hard times. Thank you Moby for your music.
Wow! This music really makes me travel to another dimension of life...it is just indescribable the feeling it brings to me. Want to cry...nothing is enough for this song. It is just so great for one’s heart. This has made me cry over and over with no actual reason. This is perfection in its other shape!
We all love you Moby, keep keeping on. Your one of a kind, that's why it can be so hard, but we all need you and more people like you, Forever Love Stay Stong
Whoever you are remember that we're all in this world together, so happens the same time, love is the ultimate emotion .. love everyone even if they hurt you.. Jesus is coming soon be prayerful and keep righteous.. may we all meet up in heaven 🙏🏼💕🙌🏼
just heard this track on the tv show Sense8 which is a great show btw, had to hear the track again in full, Moby did some special work, great artist, inspiring music
When listening to this beautiful piece, I am reminded of a young woman I met in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. I was living near the bakery where she worked as a salesperson, and I would go there every Saturday morning for coffee and croissant. She was a single mother in her mid-twenties. Very sweet and cute she was and often mischievous with the customers and others who worked there. I feel sad when I think of the difficult and troublesome life she has ahead of her raising her child in a low-middle income country such as Indonesia. This is how I feel about many people in that wonderful country - Indonesia - where I lived for two years. Sehat selalu semua teman saya disana.
The very fact you feel this music speaks absolute volumes about you my friend. Keep your chin up, cut out people who are not good for you and value the ones that are, lose yourself in good music, be good to those around and live life like it’s your last week - every week. Stay safe ❤
For me this song is the sound of life, its like if you were on the top of a mountain and you see your life from above and you can understand why you are alive❤ everyday is a present😢 lets live to the fullest
This music gave my life back when re-experienced my deepest pain from my childhood listening this. I could forgive and re-start everything. Thank you Moby!
We are not earthlings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having an earthly experience. May the universe hold you in her arms and may you love your neighbors both near and far.
I seen Moby live at mysteryland 2014. I had no idea who he really was at first, just heard of his of name but man let me tell you... this guy knows how how to get the crowd moving. We partied on the same exact grounds where Woodstock was back in the day. It was truly a magical experience. This man is a God. I wish he played the whole night instead of just one hour. I’m just glad I got to see him live.
that track is so powerfull, my heart want to get out of my chest, my hairs stands up, so many memories when i listen this beauty. thank you for that sample of love Moby ...
40 days and 40 nights. For the first time I heard this song it pierced through my heart, my mind and my soul - it is deep and smooth. This is the song that I will carry on with it to the end of time. Simplicity Moby, thank you very much!
Beyond and above: betrayed, tortured, yet, willing to give only love in return...The Man WHO carried the cross is A MEMORY that we enhance in the GOD Moby was remembering JESUS, THE LORD
Teary eyed thinking about my Dad who died i know I'll see him one day. I feel him everywhere everyday this song magnifys his presence. I don't know why i cry soi much. Te extraño papa.

This is due to the wavelengths of the music being easier to discern by the brain, and yet more likely to be a very close approximation to the golden mean in subdivision and chordal structure. Pythagoras is credited for discovering this unique mathematical relationship between number theory and musical consonance.
+DAYWONER My favorite song too...This song has changed my life
+sunshine city THANK YOU.
This song makes me think deeply .
Do tell ? We're listening.
Gracias Moby.
Pero recuerdas el documental Terricolas y cagas :((

When my ex partner was pregnant I introduced Moby to her and this song, for relaxation,I am positive my son could hear this song,he is 20 this year and has a bit of a trait ,a gentle hippie like his father.Peace.
Once upon a time this song literally saved my life. Hearing it now takes me back. Thank u Moby...
If someone tried to put this feeling into words, that person would have to be the greatest poet on Earth...
I may just give it a try
The great Moby, what a track, don t need anything else, just a feeling, this nice and warmth feeling,as music should be, unfortunately nowadays there s less artists with such talent,it s getting worse and worse,we have to honour them while the good ones are still around!memory gospel

One of my most favorite albums of all time; every song is as amazing as the next. Hearing this masterpiece today, I'm taken back 20+ years to the good ole days in college. LOVE Moby.
This song brings me an inner peace I can't describe but I'm grateful this song exists.
This song is in a beautiful tribute video to my family friend/cousin who passed years ago. It’s breathtaking. For Mike G. RIP Mike.
I was a child when I listen for the first time, Muhammad Ali was dancing in the ring with the song. Beautiful, never forget that moment.
Thank you. I miss my son & then my father & then my mother...within 6 years.....this song is therapeutic & I'm appreciative. JGT
I hope you're thriving now, dear. ❤ Peace be upon you.
Your one of a kind, that's why it can be so hard, but we all need you and more people like you, Forever Love Stay Stong

just heard this track on the tv show Sense8 which is a great show btw, had to hear the track again in full, Moby did some special work, great artist, inspiring music
Most of my life I have felt lost. But this song makes me feel an inexplicable calm.
This is such a good track. Perfect for letting your mind wonder as you drive down the city streets on a rainy night

Lovely, deeply touching .... could listen to it for hours over and over again

Beyond and above: betrayed, tortured, yet, willing to give only love in return...The Man WHO carried the cross is A MEMORY that we enhance in the GOD Moby was remembering JESUS, THE LORD
