Abandoned Church Angus Urbex Urban Exploration 2013 HD - Abandoned Scotland
In the Angus area of Scotland there lies a Church which has been closed for many years, the pigeons have now made it their home. There is still plenty there left from the congregation that used to come here, Is this what religion is destined for?

Ah sad state that church is in now I remember when in primary school going for our services there and also when younger my father and mother helping out at the boys brigade in the church building at the side of it

Once more a terrific video and a sign of the very strange behaviour of humans . To simply walk away ....and leave all that which had meaning . Good job that as we abandon so much and 'God' . He remains for us ------Did you see the church on one of my Manchester videos ? Looked as a church from outside but had been converted to flats within.

As you ask in the introduction "is this what religion is destined for?" , sadly it looks like it. Many churches amalgamating, this leaves empty buildings etc. I suppose the pigeons are Gods creatures too, so in a way the abandoned building is still fulfilling a role as a place of sanctuary and safety for those that go there. Excellent as usual.

can you "expand" your question?? - what happened to Scotland does not say in what manner you are speaking - if you mean this abandoned church well abandoned churches are everywhere and not due to a lack of "interest" but today people tend not to stay in one place generation after generation like many did in the past and when a congregation moves the church building stays and sometimes gets forgotten
