The cuts and fighter damage looks pretty cool. Also seems like elbows on the ground are coming back. Seems like the doctor can check cuts as well, so doctor stoppages could be in the game. Very excited to have Fedor in the game, we can simulate the Fedor fights we never got to see.

How many if you still don't see the "GAME ENGINE FOOTAGE" in the beginning? I know there was a lot of people saying that the trailer is full of CGI and they aren't entirely wrong. The purpose of it tho is to capture the lighting and angles in the trailer tho. All of the fighting is actual game engine gameplay so Ion think y'all should be quick to judge it so much

Docto stoppages, ground and pound w/elbows and removal of mini games for submissions have all been confirmed for this game. 64,000 possible variations of facial damage have also been added which affect fighter attributes. I have high hopes for this one.
Gameplay leak literally looks like UFC4s core fundamentals ripped out of the old engine and ported over to FrostBIte. Remain as skeptical and hold your excitement back as possible until we get a full gameplay reveal. The only thing that looked good in that leak was Herb Dean stopping the fight due to TKO. It looks like the same game with better visuals, and the main selling point being an upgraded damage system.
If its got red bar blue bar submissions I won't buy it 100% ill check back for number 6

Played the hell out of UFC 4, can’t wait for this one! Hope it’s much improved. I still jump on and play 4.
I personally thought UFC 2 was by far the best game. I thought the button system was a lot more intuitive and there was a lot more variety in fighter move sets. Sure, UFC 3 & 4 might have been more realistic, but in those two every fighter pretty much felt like you were using the same fighter with a different skin. I'm hoping UFC 5 will go back to the style of UFC 2 (but I'm doubtful).

Totally agree! I used to play ufc 2 with my brothers, and when I switched to ufc 4 it was so much different. The characters felt stiff and only programmed to do a couple of moves compared to 2.

@@scarletwitchslover2994 Actually they could build upon the control scheme of the Undisputed games, but the thing is that the engine they use now, which is Frostbite, is not really meant for this kind of thing. The engine that developer Yukes had to make the Undisputed games was a modified version of the WWE games engine, which is better for games like this. Frostbite is kind of clunky outside of FPS games.
